I left Sun with Klaus. I still didn't trust the guy after what he had done to Sun, but I trusted her to have a good judgement. After all she could take care of her own. I decided to go have some fun of my own. I tried not to, but Damon was constantly on my mind. I knew I had to let him go, but it was hard.

I called Jeremy and we agreed to meet up at our spot, the tree. I laughed when I saw Jeremy standing there with a crossbow in his hands. "What are you planning to do, Jer?" I asked him. "Well, we as ordinary mortals don't have the super abilities vampires, werewolves, witches etc. have and I still would like to be able to defend myself. So, we are going to have some fun practicing the crossbow."

I had to admit I was pretty thrilled by the idea of using a crossbow. I was quite the pacifist, but I wasn't naive. Supernatural creatures don't play nice, so we needed to be prepared. I agreed and he handed me a crossbow of my own. I had to admit I felt safer the instant I got the weapon. "Okay, so I hung up these targets in the forest. Let's try to hit the ones that hang still first."

As real hunters we walked over to the targets Jeremy had hung up. I laughed when I saw printed copies of Bonnie and Damon's heads hang there. "Bonnie?" I asked surprised. "I'll tell you later." I nodded and decided not to ask anymore about it.

We practiced until the sun went down and agreed on meeting up the next day. Same time, same spot. We said goodbye and I walked home. Yes, it had been long enough and so I went back home.
Sun was still at the Mikaelson residence so I had the house to myself. I skipped dinner and went upstairs to take a shower.

After I got done taking a shower I went back down to watch a movie. That was when the door suddenly opened and Sun walked in. "Hey sis!" She said and she ran over to me to hug me, happy to see that I had come back home again. I hugged her back and was relieved to see she'd come back home as well. We had a bit of girl time watching a romantic comedy and stayed up until way past midnight to talk about all sorts of things.

I told her everything that had happened with Damon even that I had told him I loved him. Sun looked mad and surprised. "What the heck is wrong with that guy?" She said aggravated. I tried to calm her down by saying it wasn't his fault. I couldn't force him to feel the same way about me as I did about him. Then she looked even more surprised and let out a laugh. "You really don't know, do you?" I looked confused. "Sis, you can be so naive sometimes. Damon is head over heels with you. He told me himself."

I felt a small bit of hope reappearing, but also disappointment. Why had he lied to me? Again. "Well, if he can't be honest with me it won't work out anyway." Sun looked pitiful, but I told her I was okay with it and we decided to just let it be and talked about fun stuff.
