Chapter 15

"Roselyn can you tell me about you?" we're now laying on her bed, it's quite small and not as soft as my bed but still I feel comfortable because she's here with me "You mean my childhood? hmm well, I never met my family. I grew up alone, when I grew up I decided to roam around the City begging for food and money to buy new clothes but people there are so cruel some of them pushing me away and maybe they are scared I might steal something from them so I decided to come back here at the forest" she paused for a few minutes staring at the ceiling as if she remembers something "And?" she blinked twice and looked at me while smiling " I built this! at first, I didn't know I had magic until my pet died, I cried and when I touched it it went back to life!" I smiled "That's amazing! how about your dark magic? how did you find out about it?" she sighs "Well, I discovered it when a magical beast attacked me" I smiled and hugged her "You've been through a lot, Roselyn you deserve a better life. A life wherein you don't have to fight anymore to survive" she leans her head on me.

We went back early in the headquarters so no one will find out that we did not sleep here, I was walking on the corridor when Chrimary grabbed my arm "Hey your time is running out" I frowned at her and walk closely to her and gave her the coldest look I can gave "Don't you ever try to blackmail me again or you'll find out what you looking for" I starts walking away.

Roselyn I'm sorry for what I'm going to do.

WEEKS PAST

ROSELYN'S POV

We all lined up together because Nozel said he has something important to say, I was thinking it was another mission "Everyone I gathered you all here to announce something very important" Nebra and Solid we're standing beside him "Was it another mission brother?" Nebra asked "This is about me" my heart started to beat faster "Hmm interesting..." Solid said "The past few weeks has been tough to everyone, we been through a deadly mission that we had to retreat and we been stressed out thinking about what will be our next plan for it but today... to lessen the pressure for everyone..." He tooked a deep breath "I want to announce my upcoming wedding" I gasped and my heart starts to beat rapidly everyone fell into silence and he looked on us and lend his hand....

To Chrimary....

My eyes widened in surprised asn my heart shattered into pieces, she went beside him and he wrap his arm on her waist "We will getting Married" Everyone fell into silence for awhile but after that they starts cheering for them and clapping their hands while me, I Don't know what to feel... I slowly walked backward and I went out without anyone noticing it.

NOZEL'S POV

My heart shatters, I looked at Solid and I saw he was looking at her too until he decided to follow her....I want to follow her too but I know it's too late.

SOLID'S POV

I followed her until we reached the meadow on her favorite spot, I stayed far from her watching her back while she was sitting there, I saw Nebra walked towards her from the other side and Roselyn stood "What happened?" I can hear their voices from distance and I can see Nebra isn't happy too, I decided to turned around and walked away.

I walked around the town and I decided to look for sweets, I bought it and brought along with me.

ROSELYN'S POV

FLASHBACK

"I'm also a Lady! I Don't know how to...to..." Nebra looked down but I smiled at her "I don't know what to say...I don't know how to comfort you" She looked up and gasped a little when she saw me smiling "That's alright, I Don't want to mend my heart with comforting words. I'd rather feel the pain than to be in temporary comfort" I was surprised when she hugged me that the time I burst into tears!

FLASHBACK END

Everything went fast! I can't even process the things on my head and all I know is I'm on pain! it's already midnight and I told them I already had my dinner outside even I really didn't, I went to the kitchen to grabbed a water.

While I was drinking Solid suddenly came "Oh I just arrived" I smiled at him, I noticed the bags he have "Roselyn this is for you" I tilted my head and accepted it "Thank you" I check what's inside and I found out it was variety of sweets, I gasped and looked on him "What's this?" he smiled "I just want to cheer you a little, I Don't know if that's going to work" I blinked twice and I smiled at him "Thank you and I really appreciate it" I was about to walk out of the kitchen but he grabbed my waist and hugged me tightly! "Solid!" he hush me "Shh it's okay you can cry on me, Roselyn" That moment all the heavy feelings I have wants to burst from my heart! "Why!? why did he do that!? he was asking me to marry him but why? why is he getting married with another woman?" I cried my heart out and I hugged him tightly! I Don't care if someone will see us or what right now all I want to cry all this pain!

After awhile, he wiped my tears and give me a soft smile "I know you're a strong lady, Roselyn I know you can overcome this!" I nodded then I hugged him again "Thank you Solid!" he nodded then I let him go, I decided to go back to my room.

While I was walking to the corridor I was surprised when I saw Nozel he was alone, I tried to walk casually and I cleared my throat which is a mistake because it echoed between us! he looked on "U-Uhm Good Evening Captain!" he nodded and I walk faster to for him not to noticed me but then he grabbed my wrist "Roselyn" My heart automatically beat faster as he called my name "Uhm" I Don't know what to say, I gently removed his hand on me before I bowed my head and walked away "I love you" he says....it rings on my head! ah I realized he never said it before and it made me stop to where I am! "Don't say that to enlighten me, because it's only adding on the pain I'm having right now!" I gasped as tears keep blurring my eyes "Don't say that just because your conscience bothering you" I continue to walk but as I turned to the direction of my room I stopped again "I love you too" I whispered before I walk towards my room.

NOZEL'S POV

I was stunned, I can't move my feet to where I am! I want to chase her but I know this time I Don't have right to do that! I continued to walk towards my room and locked it that's the time I burst into tears, I couldn't lose her but at the same time I Don't want to be so selfish to hold her to me.

FLASHBACK

"I will give you this" she showed me a fang necklace "What's this?" I took it from her "You can keep that! that's my necklace, I have the other one!" she showed me the other pair and I smiled.

I tooked it to my pocket and I kissed it "I'm really sorry Roselyn!" I planted a kiss on it.
