Chapter 18

ROSELYN'S POV

I was glaring at Chrimary she's on the other side beside Nozel "Your power is so strong Roselyn, I wonder how you are able to control it" Mereolona says I sigh, I hid my palm that has bruise on it because I used it to control everything after my magic consumes Chrimary's magic.

I bowed my head and told them I have to do something but Nozel stopped me "You see, everything got destroyed because of what you two did so I want you to clean the front and fix the fences that has been destroyed" He said in stern voice "I'll do the fence and she will do the cleaning" Chrimary gasped "And who are you to decide? what if I want to do the fence?" she raise her eyebrow "Shut up. bird brains can't do anything but to whine" I rolled my eyes on her before I stood "I'll do it now" Nozel nodded and I saw Mereolona laughing.

NOZEL'S POV

We all looked at Roselyn as she walked away "That girl is really different, I like her" Mereolona commented while smiling "A bad ass? haha I would love to have her on my squad!" Fuegoleon said while laughing "Bad ass? she's just an impolite, barbaric, wild and uneducated peasant! what's amazing about her?" Chrimary frowned and cross her arms "You should get going now, go on doing the cleaning or I will have to drag you outside?" she stood and stomped her feet before she walk away.

"Nozel, we came here to congratulate you for your upcoming wedding" I nodded "Wedding? as if it will happen" I glared on Solid "Do you have something to do here? if not you may go now" he rolled his eyes on me before he stood and walk out of the courtroom he even slam the door close, I sighed "Come on, speak" I looked on Mereolona "What do you want to hear?" I asked she smirks "We know you're not sure about it. Solid is right, I bet there's no way you will continue it" I shook my head "It's my family's name I'm bringing" Fuegoleon sigh "Whatever it is, it's up to you and hopefully you won't regret it" I nodded.

ROSELYN'S POV

I keep glaring on Chrimary while I was fxing the fence "Why do I have to do this? why do I have to be punish!?" she complained "If you're not going to stop complaining I'll seal your mouth close!" I shouted at her, she gasped and continue do the cleaning.

After I fixed the fence I lay down my back but I saw she's still not done, what a slug! I stood and smiled "Haha yey! I'm done!" I walked towards the entrance "H-hey!" I looked back on her "what?" she closed her eyes and looked on me again "U-uhm you should help me here!" I shake my head "In your dreams" I proceed to walk "Wait! please! help me Roselyn!" I was surprised she did not called me peasant "What? I can't hear you!" she gasped "Help me! I can't do this by my own!" I looked back on her "But in one condition..." She blinked "What condition?" I walk towards her "You will stop bothering me" she nodded, I grabbed the broom amd help her.

After we're done cleaning I went back inside and looked for Nozel to report we're done, I was about to knock on his room but it suddenly opened! he grabbed my wrist and hugged me "Are you alright? why did you forget to protect yourself too?" I pushed him gently, he looked on me and I can see worried on his face "Nozel, let's end this" he frowned "What? I can't! please!" he held my hand tightly "I can't hold you to me while I know the fact you are getting married" He stares at me for awhile before he looked down and hugged me "Okay" His words is full of pain as he tighten his hug on me "Roselyn, I can't!" I pat his back "You can! you are brave and you're a Captain because of that!" he shook his head "I can't! just please!" I push him gently and I looked down "We didn't have a proper break up, right? that's why I'm doing it now" I forcedly removed his arms "Roselyn please! what do you want me to do?" I shook my head then I ran out of his room.

At night, I was having dinner with everyone he wasn't on his seat "Captain says he doesn't want to eat" I looked down then I got up "Uhm done, thank you for the dinner" I smiled and walked away.

When Dawn arrived I didn't have enough sleep, I decided to go outside

The stars are shining bright, after Nozel's wedding I will leave there's no way I would want to stay here after that though, it will be kind of devastating for me and I Don't know how he will react to it I have to think about myself this time, I suddenly remembered Solid he became close to me and I know it will be hard for him if I go but for sure he will understand me "Oh please guide me" I whispered to the wind "I Don't know what else to do" I cried and held hugged my knees.

I was currently doing a training alone and the sun is already rising "You shouldn't got up yet! look, you have fever!" I looked on the distance I saw Nozel with Chrimary, his eyes are cold as ice and his aura went back to the old Nozel I met before "There's no time! we have to train harder this time" he said, he stopped when he saw me, his hair was being blown by the wind as he looked on me...those purple beautiful eyes staring at me like the first time we've met, I bowed my head and I started to walk away, our arms accidentally brushed to each other as I walk past by him but he didn't move.

Right after the breakfast he command us to train, I've noticed he is pale and I know he is not okay "Solid, please watch them and report to me if any of them are trying to lazy around. I will go to my room" Solid nodded and watch his brother walk away "You heard Captain! we need to train hard for to bounce back to that devil" We nodded and we starts training.

Afternoon, we decided to have a break Solid give me a flask and sat beside me on the bench "He has fever" I looked on him "What?" he looked on me before he looked around "Nozel has fever" I frowned and nodded "Have he eaten lunch?" he shook his head "I asked someone to bring him food but he end up throwing it" I frown "Did you call anyone who have healing magic?" he sighed again "He refused to be healed" I frown and I march inside "Roselyn! wait!" he stopped me by holding my arm "I will heal him by myself! he can't be sick! he have to strong! we need him for this mission!" He let me go and I went in.

I was about to knock loudly on Nozel's room but I decided not to, I held his door "Captain, it's me Roselyn" I didn't hear any response so I decided to open it and I saw him laying on his bed and he is sweating! "Hey" he moved but he did not open his eyes "You have to be okay, the squad needs you" I said in gentle voice "Please leave" my tears was about to fell when he said that but I gently held his hand "This is not just about me and you! you are our Captain, Nozel!" he shook his head "Just leave Roselyn" I bit my lower lips and I badly want to heal him! but what can I do? he pushing me away.

I was about to leave but he held my hand "Roselyn" he put it on his face "Please...." His voice cracked "Don't leave me..." I felt his temperature are high! "Please" I caress his cheek and wiped his tears "Let me heal you, okay?" he shook his head "Please Don't leave me" He jusy keep repeating his word, I kissed his hand and I felt he got little relaxed "I'll take care of you then" he opened his eyes and stare on me "You're not going to leave me?" he asked in a low tone like a child "I won't until you get better" he smiled.
