Chapter 20

After I cried, I wiped my tears and I went back to the headquarters where everyone was talking about Nozel's wedding.

"Yeah but right after that we will be out for the mission again" I saw Solid was talking with Nebra, I walked towards the garden "Hmm I wonder where are the berries here" I was checking the pots but I Don't see any berries so I went to the kitchen and asked the cook if they have berries but they said they don't have.

I stayed in my room feeling devastated but I heard knocks on my door "Come in" the door opened and Solid enters "Hey I brought you something" I sat on my bed waiting for him to approach me, he sat beside me with berries wrapped in a bag "Wow! how do you know?" I looked at him while smiling, he chuckled "I just noticed that you were looking for this a few days ago so I brought a lot" I smiled brightly and like a kid I hugged him! "Thank you Solid! I really appreciate it!" He pat my back, we share with the berries.

NOZEL'S POV

I heard Roselyn giggling and her door opened a little so I checked her and I saw she's enjoying some raspberries with Solid and they look happy together, I closed the door gently and I sighed.

At least I can see she can be happy without me, but still it breaks my heart knowing I will never be able to see her smile like that with me ever again.

I sat on the field where she used to sit and I felt the air blowing my face "No wonder she loves it here" I smiled but after a while I heard her and Solid "You're annoying! haha" I saw how she slapped Solid in a friendly way while they were laughing so I got up and stood.

ROSELYN'S POV

I looked on our front and I saw Nozel standing right on the spot where we were about to go, we stopped a few steps from him and I felt the wind blowing I slightly bowed my head and looked again at him "Good Evening Captain" He cleared his throat and walked towards us but that just what I thought because he walks past by, I stop myself for looking at him "Roselyn are you, alright?" Solid asked with concern in his voice I smiled and looked up at him "Yeah" he smiled back and caressed my back maybe he felt my sudden change of feeling.

That night, I was walking on the garden and sat on the bench "Roselyn" I looked on front of me and I stood "Captain" he walked towards me and stares on me, I stared back on him "How are you?" his voice is gentle and I can see loneliness on his eyes "I'm Great!" I tried to make my voice lively "Is there something you would like to talk about, Captain?" he sighed "I'm sorry...sorry for the pain I have caused to you!" I was a bit surprised but I smiled at him "You Don't have to apologize Captain! besides, what happened is just part of the past and there's no use of living in the past, all we have to do is to live on now and prepare for the future" The wind blowing, I saw his tears fell from his eyes but I wiped it gently "Thank you Roselyn, you really opened up my eyes to see this world beyond my titles!" He held my hands "I will be forever grateful that I met you and I loved you!" I bit my lower lips and I smiled "Of course! and I will always be here for you, serving you and helping you no matter what it cost" I hugged me and I hug him too "If you're happy with Solid then I won't stop you anymore! even it hurts a lot!" I gasped and got confused "What?" I said really confused, he then pushed me a little holding my shoulder "You're dating him right? You guys are always together!" I tilted my head and after awhile I gently smiled "We're just best friends haha" I can see how he blushes because of embarrassment but he keeps staring on me still prideful to looked away, after awhile he let me go and cleared his throat You were so strong and independent person, Roselyn I even wondering who taught you to be like that" He asked and I looked up to the night sky "Life taught me, Nozel. I grew up alone and no one to rely on, I survived by my own and at young age, I unleashed the inner demons I have" I opened both of my hands on the right one was the light and on the other side is the dark magic "I used my magics to survived and fought for my life out in the wild, combining this two..."I clasped my hands together and looked on him with bravery on my eyes "Wielded the steel heart of mine" I smiled with full of determination, he smiled too "That's the Roselyn I know! the taught and fearless lady who's willing to die for the sake of the others" I laughed a little "Well, that's the reason why I joined Magic Knights when Asta told me so. I want a world where in everyone was living at peace, even it cost my life I will work to achieve thay dream" he pat my shoulder "And as your Captain, I will help you to achieve that dream" I looked on him amd smiled "I know you will" he nodded while smiling.

Morning, I was looking on myself on the mirror while trembling "I'm pregnant" I said while looking on my reflection and tears began to fall from my eyes knowing that I can't tell it to him, I picked up the key chain I bought from the Pink moon festival and I put spell on it to conceal my child's aura, I know he will managed to feel it without my spell.

I walked outside and I saw Chrimary with him she waved at me "Roselyn! wow! was that-" she paused and stared on my key chain that was dangling on my tummy then her gazed trailed towards Nozel's waist and I saw the same key chain, we looked on each other's eyes and his eyes full of questions but he fixed his cape to hid it before he walked, Chrimary took time before she shook her head and followed him.

I was sitting on the bench caressing my tummy, we just finished our training and I'm bit exhausted.

I went to the kitchen and asked for berries but they still doesn't have one "Roselyn, let's get some" Solid says "Huh? Roselyn, are you alright? you been looking for berries for the last few days" My heart beats so fast because of Nebra's question "Uh yeah haha it's actually my weird craving hahaha" I laughed to hide my nervousness but I know they are intelligent, she squint her eyes on me and nodded "Very well, okay" She turned around and left the kitchen, I closed my eyes and took a sigh of relief "So! are you ready to pick up some wild raspberries?" I looked on Solid and smiled "Come on!" I excitedly said, he wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we starts walking.

"Hmm there should be some berries here" Were looking on the bushes and trees but it seems like there's no raspberries here "Looking for something like this?" I was surprised when Nozel suddenly appeared and lent his hand on me, he's holding a handful of berries! "Woahh! where did you get that!?" I looked on him and I picked one and ate it "Over there" he pointed the far side "Oh Great! come on let's pick some more!" Solid said and smiles "Thank you Captain!" he handed me the berries and smiles to me before Solid gently dragged me towards the direction thag Nozel pointed.
