Chapter 5

"So you're telling me that there's two magical beasts?" the village chief says, I sigh "We will be going now, we will explore the forest nearby and hunt them down" Roselyn is unexpectedly silent she is staring at the necklace again "How about you stayed for a while? I mean we will be having our festival I wish you guys could fulfill my wish" Roselyn suddenly smiled "We will gladly!" I frown "No, we have to go! there's no time for-" she smiled at me...I know she's planning something behind her mind so I did not oppose her decision and I cleared my throat "Alright the lady wants to stay so be it" I heard her gasped, but I saw here smiling.

I was sitting here and drinking tea with the village Chief, I saw Roselyn playing with a lash together with some kids...she looked pretty when she smiled and the way she carries these kids on her arms it seems like she is really enjoying here, I heard Han cleared his throat so I looked on him "She's beautiful like a curious butterfly, isn't she?" he asked while smiling and gently took a sip on his tea "I can't say that" he chuckled and looked directly in my eyes, I gasped I a little and looked away "You may be the village chief but don't forget I'm a Magic Knight Captain stop staring at me like that" he laughed so hard as if I said a joke "Was that your way of escaping from my intrigues? well sorry if you feel disrespected but you should at least try to be real on yourself" I took a deep breath and sigh.

SOLID'S POV

"How long will they be gone?" I said, while my other hand was on my cheek and watching Nebra phasing back and fort "I Don't know! I just can't believe that he chose that peasant to go with him!" she was so pissed and she stops on the window, I stood and decided to walk outside.

I saw Chrimary practicing by her own using her flame magic, I approached her and smiles at her "How long are you planning to be stuck behind that peasant? I know you're a far relative of Captain Fuegoleon Vermillion and you were sent here to marry my brother, right?" she looked on me with bored face, I smirk at her "I'm just taking time beside, that peasant is nothing compared to me" she smiled "That's right she's nothing and I would never want her to be part of my family" She laugh and shake her head "She will never be part of any noble family! even on her dreams I'm sure she's one hundred percent peasant!" I smiled, this girl is really something but the truth is I am very intrigued to Roselyn, I can feel there is something more about her than just a peasant.

ROSELYN'S POV

I was swaying and dancing with the people while Captain Nozel remained standing on the side and watching me, I can see he is smiling a little as he chatting with the village chief, I was laughing too! they welcome me like a family here.

The village chief danced with me, I saw Nozel's reaction changed into serious as I laughed and enjoyed the dancing, especially when I got too close to Han and I was able to snatch the necklace from him without him noticing it, I smiled sweetly and continue dancing with him until Captain interfere and asked to dance with me, I smiled and he held both of my hands as the people around us cheering and clapping their hands, he pulled me close and I froze for a moment when I felt his breath on my neck I realized it's the final pose for this dance, I smiled at him and he gently let me go before we walked out of the dance floor.

We decided to sleep on the same room but separate bed "I enjoyed a lot!" he nodded and I saw the corner of his lips raise "We will leave tomorrow" I nodded "Okay!" I smiled and face him, his eyes are close and he's facing the ceiling he really is handsome! when I saw him moving I blow the candle and faced the other side, I smiled before I fell asleep.

We said goodbye to the villagers and we are now walking to the forest "Are we getting close?" I asked, he looked on the map "Not quite but-" we both surprised when a boomerang flew towards him thank goodness he dodged it when it returned we dodge it and looked on the person who attacked us, I pick up my knife from my inner thigh and I turn it to a sword, he opens his grimoire as we faced this man with brown hair and yellow eyes who's grinning on us "So who among you attacked and almost killed Hinari?" he asked while grinning "Who's Hinari?" he laughed and went out from the bush, I gasped when I saw his scaled tail that's on the color of gold, he grins "What's the matter? I thought you came here to defeat me?" he laughed and I feel another presence from my back so I turned around and swayed my sword, I slashed the chest of this snake girl who attacked the village the night before last night! "Shioyuki!" I heard Captain said, I looked on him but this girl attack me with her tail "So you are Hinari?" I asked while we're fighting she chuckles "Yes and finally your empty head got something on it!" I'm moving backwards while shielding her attack "Oh yeah? I'd rather vomit it if it's your name" I laugh and jumped to the air and kicked her on the chest! she hit a tree and snarls on me "You idiot!" now she's mad and keeps on throwing poison towards me.

After an hour, I got pinned down to the ground I have large wound on my stomach, I saw Captain using his mercury magic but then, Shioyuki smashed him with his large tail and he hit a tree and not for long, I saw how this snake man stabbed him! "CAPTAIN!" my voiced echoes through the whole forest but I heart Hinari laughing "That's what you getting for interfering on us and why are you so mad? look, he'd just using you!" My eyes widened and my body trembles as her words echoes on my mind and I saw Captain Nozel fell unconscious

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed so loud....the last thing I know is, I kicked someone's face.

NOZEL'S POV

I slightly opened my eyes, Roselyn? she kicked Hinari on the face so hard! "Huh!? what the-" I heard Shioyuki got startled too but before he could ever say anything she came out of nowhere and kicked his face so hard! I got up and I saw her slashing him with her sword which is now turns into black color... I can't move, no....I can't just watch her! no! this can't be! but how? I'm deeply injured "Roselyn!" I called her and I saw the anger on her eyes, she's floating in the air as still trying to kill the snake man but then she floats towards me and on her eyes I saw the coldest stare I ever received "You're bleeding to death!" her voice is full of concern for me, I tried to stood but I almost fell she managed to catch me and in blink of an eye we got transported to a tree, the snake woman tried to attacked us again but she carries me "Idiot! you Don't have to carry me!" I shouted but she did not listen and we landed back to the tree, I saw her hands trembling and on her face I noticed the black stripes close on her chin and down to her neck, she stare on them coldly "Captain Nozel" I looked on her again "Watch me" Before I could asked her she's gone missing.

ROSELYN'S POV

I teleported on Hinari's front and kicked her hard, she groan and I did not even give her a chance to fight back, I felt Shioyuki's presence from behind so I dodge it and he ended up hitting Hinari which knocked her out "What!?" I kicked him at the back and slash my sword on him, I smiled deadly and I kicked him even he screaming to death, using my dark magic I pinned Hinari on the wall "That's impossible" I saw how fear wrapped on Shioyuki's face "Oh it is" I kicked him again at this rate all I know is I want to kill them.
