Chapter 22

5 MONTHS PAST

I took a deep breath, still wearing my uniform but I used magic to conceal my tummy "Today is your father's wedding, sadly I wasn't his bride" I caressed my tummy while looking at myself in the mirror, I decided to quit Magic knight after our next mission because I know if I won't it will be hard for my child, I walked out of the room and I saw him he is wearing a formal all white clothes has a sliver belt on his waist and his cape "Captain" I bowed my head on him "Roselyn" we looked on each other's eyes and I can see he wants to say something but he chooses to tap my shoulder and walked past by me.

Right now, we're all standing outside their wedding, the other Captains are invited too and I can see Yami is alone, magical forest is the theme and as Chrimary walks the aisle wearing her beautiful wedding gown and holding a bouquet of flowers on her hands while smiling I feel like my world crumbles, Nozel takes her hand and they stand on the front, I can't hold my tears while watching them but I noticed Nozel glance on me and I can see he has pain on his eyes too...the dreams we have are slowly fading away on my head, I caressed my tummy secretly but then, right before they exchange vows I felt a heavy and dark magic coming! I looked up to the sky and I saw a huge ball of dark magic heading towards them "Captain!" I shouted and in a sec all I knew was I was running towards them! I gasped when I kneeled and shielded the attack with my magic, I felt the impact of it especially on my tummy! "Roselyn!" I heard Nozel, I pushed the magic back to the sky "Captain..." he assisted me to get up and everyone was surprised, they were all ready to fight "Do you trust me?" I asked him and looked directly in his eyes I could see confusion as he stared at me then he grabbed me on the arms "Whatever it is Roselyn I swear! Don't you dare put your life in danger!" he said in a stern voice "And That's an order!" I looked at Chrimary and to everyone "That demon was the one who brought me up" he was shocked "What? why are you saying this to me just now!?" he is still controlling his voice and only the Captains can hear since they are the nearest to us and also Chrimary "But I was about to put him on end now..." he frowned, I smiled softly while looking at him then I broke the bracelet that stopping my dark magic immediately the dark markings appeared on my body "Forgive me...Nozel" His eyes widened when I put all of them on a dome then I flew to the sky "Roselyn!" he shouted "Oy Brat! Come back here!" I stared at Captain Yami and I grinned "Watch me, I'll Surpass my limit" he smirks "Just don't comeback here as corpse" I laugh devilishly before I go higher.

NOZEL'S POV.

I tried attacking the barrier but it jusyt absorbing my magic same as the others "What she was thinking?" I heard Captain Rill said "She knows what she's doing" we looked on Captain William and he just sitting there unbothered with the situation "What's with you!? we're being attack here and currently my mage was out there alone!" the corner of his lips curled up "Can't you notice something Nozel? the reason why I put her on your squad is because that's what's written on the prophecy... she's the one who will put an end on this devil...it says she should be from your squad. When I felt the tremendous amount of magic from her I know you're the one who can handle her properly" I gasped, we heard attacks from the sky and I saw how the clouds got tinted by black mist.

ROSELYN'S POV

"FATHER!" I shouted loudly when I found him, he smiled at me "Oh I wasn't informed that I will having a grandchild now" I tighten my cloak "How dare you!? aren't you going to stop!?" he laughed and in blinked of an eye he already close to me "Too bad" I gasped when he touches my chest and let out huge amount of magic! I flew away but I protect my baby using my magic that's why when I hit the rocky part of the mountain it ended fine, I stood and picked out my knife and used my summoning magic to let out dark spirits which attacks him, I took the opportunity to use my ultimate magic "Too bad I won't let you see him" I kicked him hard and he groaned then I teleported to his back and kicked him again "Oh really? it's because you both will going to die today!" I groaned when he kicked me on my neck! causing me to feel dizzy but I smiled menacingly "Oh? I wasn't aware of that..." I moved to counter his kick "Heh" I smirks then I started to moved like a mist "Let's end this now shall we?" he was shocked that I'm already close to him "Yeah? how? you can't beat me Roselyn!" I stare coldly on him "Yeah you're right... that's why I stabbed you instead" he looked down on his chest and I saw horror on his eyes "How could you-" I deepen my knife on him "Nullify" he gasped as he felt his magic being nullified then I twisted my knife and my magic circle emerge "No! no! you bastard!" he screams so loud as the light absorbs him, I let go of the knife but with his final blow I got hit on the chest which give me great impact causing me to fall down.

NOZEL'S POV

We're surprised when the barrier suddenly disappeared, I looked up and saw Roselyn falling "Roselyn!" Solid used his water dragon and it wraps on her body landing her safe.

She gasped and kneeled on the ground while catching her breath! before I could even get close to her she suddenly raised her hand towards the sky and released a huge amount of magic! it's a mixture of dark and light magic making it looks like a silver or gray color light! then with that Zahida screams so loud and he exploded! Roselyn activated her barrier again to protect us from the explosion.

ROSELYN'S POV.

I feel numbed and everyone except Captain Yami and Captain William are surprised, I caress my tummy feeling extreme pain on there! as I looked around I've noticed Solid and Chrimary looking on my tummy and it seems like they already know what's going on, my lips gaped and I tried to get up "Roselyn" I looked back to Nozel "Cap-" I've noticed he also looking on my tummy then his tears began to fall from his eyes before he looked back on my eyes "I know there's something off, I should have listened to my instincts" I covered my mouth "I have to go" I turned around but he hold my arm "You're not going anywhere, Roselyn! not now not ever!" I brushed away his hand then I turned around to him "Just let me go! you're getting married! it's your family name you should considered first!" he frowned "Roselyn this is not just about me now!" I raised my hand stopping him from talking "Just let me go" I said, Captain Yami walks towards us "Nozel, he saved everyone here a simple request shouldn't be hard for you to grant besides, you still have some issues to deal with" he said, Nozel frowned but his eyes still asking me to stay "Roselyn we have to face this together!" I shook my head "I can handle it by my own" I turned around.

NOZEL'S POV

I was about to follow her but Captain Yami stopped me "Nozel, let her go" Fuegoleon said, I watched as she walked away slowly no matter how many times I called her "Roselyn! I'm commanding you to stay!" She stopped by the doorway "I'm sorry Captain but..." she took off her robe of Silver Eagle "I'm quitting as magic knight" Everyone gasped as she folded it and place to an empty space before she go, my tears fall from my eyes "No" Solid chased after her but he grabbed her robe first.

After awhile he returned looking down and still has her robe "Where is she?" I asked, he shook his head "I tried to chased her but she uses her spatial magic" I frown but after awhile I took a deep breath "Alright, if that's what she wants then let it be" I turned to faced the priest who looks so confused now "Let's continue the wedding" I declares.
