"Damien, hijo. Ven aqui." Mom called and I slowly approached her. In front of us is a beautiful woman who is about my mom's age. She has a small bump on her stomach. She looks shy and innocent. Grace is also floating around her aura.

I know she's pregnan because my mom already told me about it.

Mom pulled my small hands and placed me infron her. I can sense that the woman is smiling at me with her hands on her bump. I didn't meet her eyes. It only focuses on her stomach.

I felt a gentle squeeze on my hand and I looked up to my mother.

"Baby, this is your Tita Nadi. She's my best friend since high school here in the Philippines." She introduced.

I already know that she is my mom's best friend. I have heard about her countless of times because of mom's neverending storues about how they would alwasy sneek out from their classes and do rebel things.

From the story alone, I know that they had a lot of fun because my mother's laughters and smiles are nonstop.

"Hola, señora. Encantada de conocerte. Mi nombre es Damián." I greeted her and shook her hand.

She laughed loudly before crouching a little to see me. I just look at her without any emotion. I don't hate her. I'm just like this.

"Hola, hombrecito." She touched my cheek and smiled warmly. It was weird because I don't like it when someone just randomly touched me, but the way her warm palm touched my cheek made me feel something.

It's like there is something inside her that my heart owns.

"Ang poging bata. Sana mapunta siya sa baby ko." She said and stood properly then caressed her bump again.

"It's a girl?" Mom asked.

"Yup! Finally. Halos mga tite kasi ang nasa bahay mabuti naman at may perlas na ulit." I didn't quite understand what did Tita Nadi said because I am not yet that fluent in Filipino but I guess it's something bad due to my mother's eyes-wide reaction.

I just turned 3 and I am still havint difficulties in adopting the language.

"Hoy! Yang bibig mo, Nadeliene!" Mom playfullt slapped her shoulders and the woman's laugh echoed the living room. "Mukhang anghel at sophistikada pero ang dungis ng utak!"

Tita Nadi just laughed.

We're supposedly to stay here just the entire summer but it got extended. Almost everyday we visit Tita Nadi's home and those days I got attatched to her bump.

I don't really know why but the moment she let me touched it, she kicked, and right there and then, I fell inlove with her.

So, I always guide Tita Nadi as much as I can since she is near her due and I am so excited to see her.

However, sometimes there are things or situations that doesn't go with the time.

Days before Tita Nadi's due date, we have to return to Spain because Fathet is needed there to fix some company problems. Even though I want just stay here and wait until she's born, I can't.

"Mamá, can I just stay here with abuela and abuelo?" I asked her. My grandmother, which is Mom's mother, and my grandfather is staying here in the Philippines. She is a pure Filipino but abuelo is pure Spanish. They prefer this country because according to them here is peaceful.

"You can, son. But, you have school starting soon."

I can't help but to pout.

Tita Nadi smiled at me and held my cheek. I am sitting beside her with my palm caressing her bump.
