"Is everything ready?" I asked my secretary from the other line.

"Yes, Sir. I have everything organized and ready."

"Thank you." I dropped the call and placed my phone back on my pocket.

I sighed. I'm nervous even though I know everything will go well.

I glanced at my watch to check the time.

6:30 pm.

Earlier, I left Mithi and our kids at home. Kahit ayaw kong umalis dahil dikit na dikit yung tatlo sakin, I have to.

I need to make sure that everything's complete and ready. It should be perfect.

I want this day to be memorable for the both of us and to our kids.

I want them to see what love is by being a good example on how I take good care of their sweet loving mother.

Speaking of my sweet girl, my office's door banged open revealing her in a pastel yellow sundress.

"So fùcking beautiful," I think I said that a little louder. Hoping she didn't heard me cursed.

I'm in awe. Her light brown curly hair with a pastel yellow headband is swaying as she jumps on her little feet wearing pastel yellow ribbon flats towards me. She is giggling happily showing her dimples and looking so excited. Her eyes are sparkling with so much love.

"Gideon! Gideon!" She took a last jump in front of me before giggling again.

"Hi, my pretty girl. Looking so excited?" I raised my hand to touch her chubby cheek that she leaned on it.

Putangina talaga ang cute cute.

"I am indeed excited, Gideon." She squealed.

Hindi ko napigilang tumawa dahil tangina nakakahawa yung magaganda niyang ngiti.

"Why is it, life?" I said, acting innocent.

"Es un secreto!" I smiled at that.

She's getting really good with her spanish. I'm so proud of her.

"Puedes compartirmelo, mi amor?"   She shook her head cutely telling me 'No'.

"If I tell you that I have a surprise dinner for you then it wouldn't be a secret anymore. Oh! I also made sure you would love the flowers I picked for you! It was purple rose  Bubba! I also requested for a sweet section that you would love! and also! Also, Gideon, I told Mr. Chef to cook carbonara!" She babbled out.

I just keep on listening to whatever she says without her knowing that she already revealed her pretty little secret. Even so, I'll still be surprise. I don't want to see a sad emotion on her face if she finds out I'm not surprised anymore.

Hinawakan ko ang kanyang pisngi at inangat ang kanyang mukha. I leaned down to kiss her soft lips. She stopped talking and when I looked at her she has those big innocent eyes.

"Want more please." I chuckled and kissed her again. I will not deprive her with her wants. I also love it. Bakit ko naman ipagkait, diba?

I actually did that because she was still babbling about the dinner she prepared for me which is her surprise.
