Hey! I'm back! Hopefully with another good idea but who knows! Right now I'm just going with the flow, I'll write things down and come back later and change things I don't like. Let's see what road my brain leads me on this time!
And before we start, I want to add something. If there's speech and it's in italics it means that they aren't actually talking it's more like "telepathy" in a way since they pretty much have a conversation with their faces. If that makes sense.
Jax's P.O.V.
"Jax!"
Oh no, Raz is heading this way. Hopefully, she doesn't say anything about-
"Jax! I talked it over with Father, and we've decided to let you start off with a meeting. Luckily, Father has one to attend to this morning anyway. You can tag along with him, it's in the next 30 minutes, get ready." Raz says, before heading off.
I was hoping they would take longer to find something for me. Like, maybe a couple of hours? Or maybe till noon?
"Good for you, Jax!" Maxine grins at me, "Is it a political meeting?"
"Isn't that the reason they even have meetings?" Kayla asks
"Well, I suppose. But there are so many other topics you can have meetings about."
"I should probably go now," I tell them as I stand up, if I don't get ready now I'll end up being late for the meeting.
Gilly's P.O.V.
"See ya," I wave as Jax heads off. I guess he can't tag along with me then. I turn around and Ollie is staring at me intently.
"So, more patty cakes for me right?"
I groan, "We'll see, Ollie, we'll see."
"C'mon," Maxine says eagerly as she gets up. We follow her outside where parents are slowly starting to turn up.
"Quack."
I turn around just as Peaches tries to fit my hand in her mouth. I yelp, yanking it away quickly.
"Maxiiinee," I call, "I thought you left Peaches in your room?"
"I did, she must've found a way out. I guess that means she's coming with me," she says cheerily. "Oh, my parents are here!"
I smile and wave to Maxine's parents before darting into the growing crowd to find mine.
"GILLY!!!!"
"Han, where's Mother and Father?"
"Gilly!" I turn around and see Anna waving me over, Hamish, Trixie, Felix, Mother, and Father are with her, "Over here!"
I run over to them, taking Han with me. Trixie gives me a big hug, followed by Hamish and Felix. "C'mon!" Anna calls, "Let's show them around, Gilly."
"Can we pleaaaaaaseee go see the pegasi? Please, please, pleeeaaaaaase?" Hamish pleads. I look over at Mother and Father, they nod.
"Alright then, let's go!" Anna grins and leads the way.
*Time skip*
"Wooowwwww," Hans says as we enter the stables, "They're so big!"
"Can I touch them?" Felix asks, marveling at the pegasi.
"Sure," Anna chirps.
"Can we ride them?" Hans looks up at me.
"Umm... I'll go ask ok?" I look around for the stable boy (I can't remember if his name is mentioned in the book, I don't have the physical book, and I can't seem to find it in ebooks) "Wait here," I tell them, "I'm going to find someone to ask." I head off into the halls, weaving my way through the crowds of people. Other students touring their families, professors chatting with parents, and kids playing in the halls.
