The Weird Looks

I'M BACK WITH AN UPDATE!!! I'm still so happy that this has gotten 2.1k views. Also thanks for the 40-some votes! Right, so people, what do you think'll happen next? I say that Gilly comes back and everything goes back to normal. JUST KIDDING! Ok, well I want to continue rambling but I really don't know what else to talk about........... soooooo on with the story!

Jax's P.O.V.

"Hey, umm, guys?" I say as everyone sits down for breakfast.

"Mhm?" Ollie says, stuffing his face with pancakes.

"Umm, did anyone hear anything last night?"

"Nope. Maxine was mumbling in her sleep." Jocelyn announced, nearly falling face first into her pancakes.

"Sorry." Maxine grins sheepishly.

"You should ask Kayla, she doesn't have a roommate anymore since......" Jocelyn trailed off, "Anyway she would probably hear things more clearly."

"Well, I think I heard Gilly...... I don't know, I was half asleep when I went in the bathroom. But it was muffled so I don't know. Though it seems to be coming through the walls, through the boys' bathroom?" Kayla says.

"Yeah. I thought I heard it to and I think I saw a glimpse of her face in the bathroom mirror." I admit.

"WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT! You saw her?!" Everyone interrupts.

"Umm...... yeah? I guess?" I say unsurely.

"YOU SAW HER AND YOU DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING?!" Jocelyn screeches.

"It was only for a millisecond. So I'm not sure." I defend myself.

"Ok, so you saw her. Did you hear her speak?" Jocelyn rubs her forehead like she has a splitting headache. She probably does.

"Ummm. I heard her a little bit I guess."

"What did she say?!" Maxine and Kayla ask in unison.

"Uhhh. She said 'Hello? Is anyone there? Jax? Ollie?' well, something like that." 

Kayla, Maxine, and Jocelyn share a knowing look. All of them grinning like they knew something I didn't. Kayla nods her head at me and gives a questioning glance at Jocelyn. Jocelyn nods. Kayla and Maxine break into even bigger smiles. I'm so confused. What's happening?

"Ollie!" Jocelyn calls.

Ollie looks up. Jocelyn raises her eyebrows and looks at me. "You heard?" she asks him.

Ollie nods, confused, then his confused face turned into realization. He grins. "That that?" he asks.

"I think so." Jocelyn nods.

"Ok, what is happening here?!" I burst out.

"Nothing." They all say together.

I look at them suspiciously, "Ok...... so what do you think about that? Am I going crazy or..."

"Well, I think......" Jocelyn starts.

THAT'S IT!!! OMG writing that bit where everyone was giving each other looks and leaving out Jax was hilarious! I was dying cause Jax is so oblivious. I mean, I was literally bursting with laughter. No clue how I write that. Soooooooooooo, did you enjoy? Which chapter is your favorite? I think I'm gonna ask that in the end of every chapter now. TOODLES!
