The Crew Is Back

Jax's P.O.V.

"Guys! Hurry up!" I say, basically jumping up and down now. We finally arrived and docked at Enchantsia.

"Alright! Alright!" Kayla says as she grabs her stuff.

"Someone's excited," Jocelyn notes.

"Of course! We need to see Gilly!"

"I wouldn't say need," Jocelyn says.

"Don't you wanna check on her and see if she's ok?" Maxine asks as she lugs her luggage down the dock.

"I mean, we aren't exactly friends so it's not like I really care." Jocelyn shrugs.

"Yeah right!" Kayla smirks, "I could hear you throwing your spell books around every time you can't find a spell."

"Hey, I need the royal to cooperate don't I?" Jocelyn says defensively.

"Guuysss!" I complain, "We're wasting time! Hurry up and let's go!"

"Says the one who left Ollie to carry his bags." Jocelyn snaps.

I look behind her, and sure enough, Ollie was carrying both his and my bags. 

"Sorry, Ollie!" I ran over, "I completely forgot about the bags."

"About time!" Ollie whines, "My arms are aching here! What do you pack in there? Rocks?"

"Eh... books and some other stuff."

"JOCELYN!" a voice yells.

We all look up to see Harlow storming over.

"JOCELYN I TRUSTED YOU TO STAY SAFE!" she yells.

"Sorry! And I am safe! We just... got into a little dilemma." Jocelyn protests.

"Yeah right! As if losing someone in the ocean and pretty much losing contact with her is staying safe!" Harlow glares, "Anyways, hurry up and get back to FTRS, you've got people waiting for you."

"Yes ma'am," Jocelyn mutters.

"Let's go, let's go, let's go," I whisper, gesturing for them to hurry up.

We follow Harlow into FTRS, where we see...... all the professors standing there, most of them with their arms crossed. Headmistress Flora is in the midst of them.

Not exactly what I expected to see.

"I allowed Professor Blackbeard to send you six because I thought you could handle yourselves, apparently I was wrong," Flora says.

I shift from foot to foot, biting my lip to hold back the urge to ask if Gilly had arrived.

"We're sorry! We really did try, but there was this huge storm we couldn't avoid and-" Maxine tries to explain.

"I know that," Flora replies coolly, "But the fact that I can't believe is that you managed to lose one of your crew members, a very unacceptable thing."

Kayla and Maxine hang their head down, Jocelyn looks grumpy, and Ollie looks ashamed.

"A cap'n must ne'er lose a crew hand, the most important thing t' a cap'n best be his crew," Blackbeard added.

"I'm not gonna keep you any longer now as you've just come back, but I expected better from you," Flora says coldly, before walking off.

"That... was intense." Kayla notes, "I wonder if Gilly's here yet."

"I should've watched you guys more carefully." Ollie says sulkily, "A captain never loses his crew."

"It's all over now, plus it wasn't your fault. You didn't know there was gonna be a storm." Maxine comforts him.

"Cobbler's probably here already, we should get going. Besides, I'm pretty sure the prince can't wait any longer anyways." Jocelyn says, nodding at me.

"Hey!" I protest.

"You can't say I'm wrong." Jocelyn shrugs.

"But still!" 

"See? He didn't even deny it." Jocelyn points out.

"That's not the point!" I insist, "Besides, if we wanna see if Gilly did come back before us, shouldn't we get going now? I mean, even Jocelyn was worried!"

"Who said I was worried about the Cobbler?" Jocelyn demands threateningly.

"Your actions did," Ollie replies, "Now let's hurry up! I wanna see if I can get Gilly to buy me some pattycakes, I used all my money last week."
