HEEEEEEEEEEEEELLOOOOO!!! Happy New Years Eve! Well, I'm writing this on New Years Eve and I don't know when I'll post this sooooooooooooo yeah. Also, warning, Jocelyn might sound a bit like Ro from KOTLC (for those who are KOTLC fans/readers).

I lie on my back, wearing sunglasses and sipping juice from a coconut.  Hayley made us leaf-umbrella's and placed them above our hammocks. Hayley left to get some games for us to play, so for now, I'm relaxing as much as I can.

There's a soft breeze, making the temperature just right, I wonder how Jax and the crew are doing.

Jax's P.O.V.

I lie on my bunk, refusing to get off.

"Jax! Stop sulking and come and help us!" Kayla yells from outside.

"I'm not in the mood!" I yell back.

"UGH!!! Yeah, I know it's sad that Gilly's missing but this is wayyyyy too much angsty-ness." Jocelyn grumbles. "And I have to deal with it, greaaaaaat, just great. Like I can already deal with them without extra angsty-ness."

"Jax, Gilly wouldn't want you sulking about her when we have a goal to reach." Maxine calls through the door.

"Yeah! And I can't deal with sulky-boy-angst!" Jocelyn adds, not helping the situation.

"Just leave me alone!" I whine.

Gilly's P.O.V.

"Can you get me more flour Hayley?" I call, I'm making dinner. Well, trying to anyway.

"Got it!" Hayley returns with a bucket full of flour. "Now, are you sure you add cinnamon?"

"I think so. " I nod. "I mean, I've always tasted them in bread rolls."

Wilson squeaks defiantly.

"Oh! Wilson just reminded me that we need baking soda!" I clap my hands, clouds of flower drift into the air.

"I think some of my mermaid friends have some." Hayley says, before diving back into the water.

"I wonder if the rest of the crew are having as much fun as we are." I grin at Wilson.

Jocelyn's P.O.V.

UGH! It's already bad enough we've lost one of us without the other being all sulky! And having to live with it? I mean, I'm sad about what happened to Gilly too - not that I'd say that to anyone - but I'm not being all sulky and angsty about it.

Sometimes it's just annoying when you got two stupidly oblivious friends on board. Especially if they like each other.

It's getting late, we all decided that Maxine should take the night shift tonight, unless we can convince Jax to do it instead.

"JAAAAAAAAAX!" I yell, banging on his door. "GET OUUUUUT! IT'S YOUR TURN FOR THE NIGHT SHIFT!!!"

I would get Ollie to go in and drag him out since they share a bunk but Ollie's in the bathroom.

"WAIIIIIIIIT." Jax whines.

"HURRY UP SULKY-BOY! I'VE GOT NO TIME FOR YOUR ANGST!" I scream.

"I'M NOT SULKING!" Jax replies.

"KEEEEEEEEEEP TELLING YOURSELF THAT! KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP TELLING YOURSELF THAT." I say.

"IT'S CALLED MOURNING!" Jax defends himself.

"Yeah right. Now hurry up, Princey-dude. We ain't have all day." I say impatiently.

The door creaks open. Jax is standing in the doorway, his back slumped and dark rings under his eyes. His hair is seriously messy.

"Finally." I grunt, then head upstairs. "Maxine, get to bed. Jax is taking the shift."

Maxine took one look at Jax and shook her head. "Nuh uh, you are not going to take the shift in that state. You will go back down and get some sleep."

"But-"

"Nope, shoo." Maxine interrupted.

Jax shrugs depressingly.

"Nooooooooope! He needs distraction. Up you go Princey-dude." I block his way.

Jax doesn't say anything and goes back up.

"Seriously, he's gonna get really sick if he keeps this up." Maxine whispers.

"I know, hopefully the distraction will help him fall asleep. I'll have Ollie watch him." I whisper back. "OLLIE!!!"

Aaaaaaaaand that's it! Hey, it's still New Years Eve! Can't believe I finished this chapter in a day! It's like, 7:54 PM right now. Happy New Years Eve!!!
