"Saan ka galing?"

Alana groaned when she heard the voice of her father. Nilingon niya ito at bored na tiningnan. Her expression change when she saw her brother. Kuya Nathan stood where he was. Nagpalipat lipat ang tingin nito sa kanya at sa Dad nila.

Ramdam niya agad ang pag kulo ng dugo niya.

Damn it. This is not good. Parehas na ngayong mainit ang dugo niya sa Dad at sa kapatid niya.

"I went out with some friends."

Yun na lang ang sinabi niya para matapos na ang usapan. She doesn't want to argue with her father.

Deri-deritso siyang nag lakad paakyat ng hagdan. Pero hindi pa siya nakakahakbang ay hinawakan na ng Dad niya ang kamay niya.

"What are you doing out there with an independent investigator, Al?"

Kumunot ang noo na nilingon niya ang Dad niya. "H-How did you know that, Dad?"

Her father looked at her eyes directly. There was worry and fear in those eyes. "Stop it."

Napatingin siya sa kuya Nathan niya at agad itong umiwas ng tingin. Alana closed her eyes and gritted her teeth. Her brother told their father! How could he?!

"Why? Why are you so afraid of Mayor Saavedra, Dad?" Her voice is calm but she was raging with fire inside. Bakit ganito na lang katakot ang Dad niya at ang kuya niya?

"No sabes de lo que es capaz! H-él---"

Her Dad shook his head and looked at her dead in the eyes. "Stop the investigation right now. Sabihan mo ang investigator na iyon na tumigil na. It's for your own safety!"

Umakyat ang dugo sa ulo niya sa sinabi nito. Her Dad always told her what to do and he didn't get anywhere to commanding her. Kahit kailan ay hindi niya sinunod ang utos nito. So how come he think that she'll do it this time?

She smirked. Bahala ito. Tumalikod na siya para sana umakyat but her father became furious nang makita ang pag ngiti niya at pagtalikod dito. He suddenly grabbed her arms again to make her face him. It was so forceful that she was jerked back.

"Por qué eres tan testarudo?!"

She scoffed at him. May karapatan ba itong magtanong tungkol sa bagay na iyon? Why did she become stubborn anyway? Lumaki siyang sinusunod ang mga utos nito noon. And when she finally got the courage to oppose his orders. Lalong itong humigpit at pinagbuhatan siya nito ng kamay. Maybe the slaps that she got from him made her brains scrambled. Kaya ganito katigas ang ulo niya.

"Mierda!" ~Fuck! ~

Hinaklit niya ang braso dito.

Kuya Darius went to America to get away from you! Kuya Nathan is so submissive that he does the things you wanted him to do!"
