CHAPTER 25

Alana pretended to sleep dahil napahiya siya sa ginawa nito. Ginawa niya na ang lahat para maakit ito pero hindi ito bumibigay. But she can clearly see the lust in those dark eyes. Bakit hindi ito mag patangay na lang sa agos?

She took a peek at Lily's way. Nakapikit ito pero halatang gising pa dahil gumagalaw ang mata nito sa ilalim ng takukap.

Lumamlam ang mga mata niya. Honestly, she's missing in action these days. Wala siyang ibang iniisip kung hindi makaganti sa Dad nito. She closed her fist tightly before slowly letting it go. She inhaled and exhaled her breath slowly.

Lily shouldn't see through her hatred. She had slipped out a lot but she wouldn't risk another.

This is an opportunity that she shouldn't missed.

"Lily......" She reached out her right hand to caress Lily's hair away from her face.

A satisfied smirk appeared on her lips when she noticed Lily flinch. The damn pillows Lily put in between them couldn't hold Alana back. Kung gugustuhin niya nga ay pwede niya itong pilitin ngayon, but she's not that low. She wouldn't force a woman to sleep with her.

"Al...."

There was a weak protest in Lily's voice and Alana scooted closer. "You are weakly protesting, Lily. Admit it. You want me."

Sa sinabi niya ay nag mulat ito ng mga mata. Kumunot ang noo nito. Kumibot kibot din ang labi nito na tila ba hindi nito malaman ang sasabihin sa kanya.

Alana encouragingly smiled at Lily's way. She made a heart stopping smile that she knows woman swooned over. Pero nagulat siya ng tumayo ito at dali daling binuksan ang t.v.

"W-We should know what's happening outside. Baka hindi din safe dito sa hotel."

Lily turned the t.v on and Alana bit her lip and closed her eyes tightly before massaging the side of her head. Bakit ba ang pakipot nito? Woman would fawn over her lalo na kapag nginitian niya na ng ganun but Lily choose to ignore it.

Damn it.

Lily put the remote on the table and sat on the edge of the bed. Alana sat up too. Napatutok ang atensiyon niya sa balita dahil kitang kita doon ang kabi kabilang flash flood na nangyayari sa buong bayan ng Atega.

Pinagmasdan ni Alana ang likod ni Lily. Lily had a petite body. She looked small and fragile. Ibang iba ang imahe nito sa Dad nito. Mr. Saavedra had an intimidating aura and he is confident in himself. While Lily on the other hand must have her demeanor from her mother. Ang itsura lang talaga nito ang namana sa Dad nito. And it's a feature she hates so much. Why does she have to had that dark sinful eyes?

She shook her head. Kailangan niyang maakit ito ngayon or else she'll miss the chance.

Gumapang siya palapit kay Lily. She made sure that she wasn't making any noise as much as possible. Hanngang sa makalapit siya dito. Then she quickly wrapped her arms around Lily's body.

Nagulat ito sa ginawa niya.

Lily's eyes got big and her mouth formed into an 'o'.

"W-What are you doing?"

Pinikit niya ang mga mata niya para hindi nito makita ang inis sa mukha niya. Hindi siya sanay na tinatanggihan o ni-r-reject ang physical touch niya.

"I need some warmth. Masyadong malamig."

"T-Then we can turn the ac off."

Hindi siya kumibo sa sinabi nito. She liked the warmth that it brought her. Surprisingly, it felt good to hold Lily in her arms. Ngayon na lang ulit niya naramdaman ang init ng isang tao. And it's weird that she felt it towards the daughter of the man who murdered the woman she loved.

She tried to fight the urged to close her hands into a fist. She should address her anger issues but it just felts so good to express it externally. Hindi niya lang maintindihan kung bakit kahit na inilabas niya na ang galit niya. The anger still stayed with her. Hindi niya alam kung dahil hindi niya matanggap agad ang bagay bagay. Kaya ganito ang epekto sa kanya. But letting out the anger should have made her able to move on. Hindi niya tuloy napansin na biglang nanginig ang mga kamay niya.

But then she felt a hand hold her own. "You are trembling."

Hindi siya nakakibo sa sinabi nito. Alana opened her eyes and found Lily's dark eyes looking at her with concern.

"A-Are you, ok?"

Tila napaso siya sa mga titig nitong iyon. She doesn't want to admit it but Lily's concern was beginning to make her heart flutter. Hindi naman pala ito ganun ka suplada at ka-ignorante sa lahat ng bagay. She can be sensitive too.

Lumuwag ang pagkakayakap niya dito. And she was about to walk away and turn around nang biglang mag ring parehas ang cellphone nila.

It was a perfect excuse to let go of Lily. Dali dali siyang umalis sa pagkakayakap ditto at nag kukumahog na kinuha ang phone niya.

There was a missed call from her brother and her mother. Alana made a return call.

Tumayo siya at inilagay ang kamay sa bulsa niya habang inaantay ang pag ring ng cellphone niya. Then she took a quick look at Lily's way.

Lily was on the phone at kitang kita niya ang pag ngiti nito. It was a heart stopping smile. Genuine and heartfelt. Have Lily shown her that?

"Hello, Dad?"

Kumunot ang noo niya nang marinig ang sinabi nito. Nawalan siya ng gana sa narinig sa bibig nito. Nawalan na siya ng gana na makinig pa.

Fortunately, her brother picked up the call. "Where are you, el más joven?"

"Hermano, estoy en un lugar seguro. No tieners que preocuparte." Kuya, nasa ligtas na lugar ako. There's no need to worry.

Her brother sigh on the other end. "Mabuti naman kung ganun. Estoy realmente preocupado." Nag aalala lang talaga ako.

"Saan yan?"

"In a hotel nearby school. I'll hang up now."

Hindi niya na inantay pang mag salita ang kuya niya. She ended the call. Ang mahalaga ay alam nitong ok na siya. She turned towards Lily's way at nakita niya ang pag titig nito sa kanya. Bumaba ang tingin niya sa pag higpit ng hawak nito sa cellphone nito bago bumaling ang tingin nito sa ibang bagay.

Alana wetted her lips. Lily looked like she was lost for a moment habang nakatingin sa kanya. There was also a blush on Lily's cheeks but Alana looked away. Hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit parang nawalan siya ng gana na gawin ang plano niya.

May bukas pa naman.

She didn't look once at Lily's way. Nahiga na lang siya sa pwesto niya at tumalikod ditto. Her heart suddenly ached nang maalala niya si Helen. This is all for Helen. Hindi dapat mawala sa isip niya kung bakit siya nakikipag lapit ngayon kay Lily Saavedra.

That is to make her pay for her father's sins.
