Chapter Fifty-Three: New Debut

"Let's do this!"

The three girls all smiled brightly at each other. They may be super nervous, but knowing that the other two would be up there with them... calmed their nerves.

"Right!'

Despite all three of them being nervous they were all smiles.as they walked out of the backstage and up onto the stage, where a decent sized crowd was waiting, though with Mem-Cho being in the group, she wasn't really worried about the turn out, despite what she had said to Ruby the night before.

The members of New-Komachi sat around a table, a variety of glowsticks scattered around the table.

"I want my glowstick's color to be pink! Just like Ai's!"

Ruby beamed as she cracked a pink glowstick and looked at it in awe. She was practically bouncing in place.

"I guess I'll take yellow then."

Mem-Cho placed a hand on a yellow glowstick and lifted it and cracked it as well, she waved it around a bit smiling.

"What a shocker..."

Ruby snickered before a flash of yellow struck her in the head.

"Owww!"

Kana looked at the remaining glowsticks on the table, purple, blue, orange, green, red...

As Kana reached for the red glow stick she stopped, another glowstick had caught her attention. It was colorless, all the other glowsticks had a semblance of color in them... but this one was just clear.

Reaching for it, she cracked the glowstick and it began to glow white. Her eyes widened as she stared at the glowstick.

"White, huh?"

Mem-Cho's eyes were on Kana, who was still looking at the glowstick.

"Is... is that not good?"

"I wouldn't say that, but they're seen as special so people tend to cry foul and fight over them."

"Oh. I see."

Kana was about to put the glowstick down, there was no need to cause any sort of drama over a glowstick color.

"I think it suits you, since you're not an Idol Otaku in the first place."

"You think so..?

Kana looked down at the white glow stick in her hand. Well... if the other two didn't have a problem with it...

Many of the people in the crowd had yellow glow sticks, all of them cheered as the three Idols came on stage. Kana waved her hand and put on the biggest smile she could. The crowd was lit up in yellow, Mem-Cho really brought in a majority of the audience.

Occasionally she saw a break in the yellow, a few people were waving pink

But there wasn't a single white glow from the crowd.

Perhaps it was because of the dominance in yellow, but she couldn't make out even a single bit of white. Despite her excitement over their debut, being unable to see even a single white glowstick in the sea of yellow and pink was a little disheartening for her.

But she couldn't focus on that right now...

"We are Star T-Rain!
