"Let's heauh it." Audrey turned towards me.

I point to our phones and mimic texting with my other thumb. They both nod and pull out their phones.

ME- I found three results for a scarlett glass in three seperate cities

AUD- underling sounds so very dastardly

ME- flunky then

AUD- temp is better

ME- I'll ring Jay once we return to the hotel

We put our phones down and returned to eating brunch. After we'd finished the waitress, Harley returned.

"Can I get you anything else?" Harley's eyes traveled between our faces.

"The check and youh numbuh fouh my girl-friend, please." Audrey winked up at her as she pointed to me.

I blushed while Carver snickered behind his hand. I smiled widely and kicked his shin as I looked at him.

"Oow!" Carver yelped and the attention was redirected onto him.

"Are you alright, sir?" Harley asked as she attempted to swallow a giggle.

"I-I'm fine. I stubbed my elbow on the table." He sheepishly rubbed his elbow.

"Ah. I've seen it happen many times. Funny, only our male clientele seem to suffer by it." She uttered with the straightest face I've ever seen.

"Well Cuhv, isn't it nice to know you fit in with the other males?" Audrey gave him a faux adoring glance.

"I-I uhm-."

"Lost fouh words, doll?" Audrey booped his nose.

"Uhh, anything else besides the check and my number? To go boxes, perhaps?" Harley directed at me as she avoided looking at Carver.
