"Alright, mom and dad have officially overstayed." Carver whined as he entered my suite by Audrey and I's shared door.

"I thought you were overjoyed to be reunited?"

"I was until the ol' deauh  began pickin' up my suite."

"How annoyin' fouh you. How should you I deal with them, bro?" I snarkily replied as I returned to my book.

"I suppose you couldn't talk them into returnin' home?"

"Culpeppuh would be offended if the 'rents left after one cycle."

"Yech, is there any part of the case needin' work?"

"I'm sure you could discovuh somethin'."

"I guess I could hack the city's network fouh info." He sighed as he leaned over the couch.

"Happy hackin', bro." I turned and grinned at him before returning to my book.

Once I heard the door shut I took a glance and he was gone. I stood up and went to the door and knocked.

"Knock, knock, Audy aardvark!"

The door opened and Audrey gave me a wide grin.

"What's happenin' Ray-Ray?"

"It's imperious we meet with Birdie to eye up heuh weal."

"Wouldn't she be out, same as the townies?"

"I take it she's a insomnia lifuh. Same as you and I, Aud."

"Maybe ensuin' the reverse rotation has duped heuh entropy?"

"It's definitely plausible, yet I insist we pursue the angle."

"Why so vested in Birdie's hindsight?" Audrey placed her hands under her chin.

"If heuh narrative matches what I've deduced, she could find herself in peril. My hands are lave of claret, and I intend to keep them cleauh."

"Aye, aye skippuh." Audrey stood to her feet and saluted.

I grabbed my cell and scanned the apps to see if I had deleted my favored recording app. Finding it among my apps I switched to images. I found the image of our map of everyone's suites.

"Set?" Audrey called from the door.

"You bet." I raised my phone and satchel.

We exited my room and strolled down the hall to the elevator. I pressed the button and the doors opened.

"GREETINGS BLOOMINGTON PARTY! PLEASE SELECT A FLOOR."

I checked the map and saw Birdie's room was on floor five, suite fifty-five.

"Which floouh?" Audrey wiggled her fingers over the button panel.

"Five."

"YOU HAVE SELECTED FLOOR FIVE. ARRIVAL ESTIMATED THREE MINUTES."

"It's a swell thing that Birdie and Eira don't share a floouh." Audrey sighed in relief.

"Yet if they had, it would've roused ouh sensibilities."

"You sound similar to an adrenaline seekin' hophead, Ray. One could take it that roomin' with youh soul sistuh doesn't cut it."

"That's untrue as statin' crocodiles and alligators are the same creature."

"Do you care to explain the new event on ouh shared calenduh, Rayvenna Augusta Bloomington?"

"Curses! The shared calenduh slipped my memory. I can't dust it off, she's at a storm level."
