Upon our return to the hotel We made way to the conference room. I sat down and Carver logged into his email on my tablet to present the emails.
"So this is the first email documented fouh Decembuh third.
To: Eira
I perused through the old man's things and found a paternity slip. Our dear old dad spawned a daughter of the name Scarlett Glass. She's twenty-two and resides in Newark, New Jersy. I did a search and found three women in possession of that name. I enlisted a PI of the name Maxine Trott to the case.

"Now here's Eira's reply.
To: Roscoe
Whatever are you doing leafing through daddy's belongings? He and mother had both oars in the water when they rewrote their will. A love-child, how scandalous! I wonder how daddy managed to veil her from our view? I honestly don't know which is more bewildering. The quiddity of a half-sibling, or the fact you're rummaging around for her. I hope you don't think you can use her to aquire any amount of the family fortune.
E.C.
"Talk about digging at his wounds." Audrey commented from my other side.
"That's rich brats fouh you. Anyway this email is two days latuh."
To: Eira
True, I didn't accede, but dad made sure to will his personal belongings to me. Despite your preconceived opinions of me, I concure our parents were playing with a full deck. In the matter of our half sister, I simply wish to know her. I wouldn't possibly dream of using her to retrieve an inheritance. The will stipulated inheritances to other relatives is unable to be taken from other members. I however understand your apprehension as I'm a recovering so-and-so. You'll hear from me when I've acquired our half-sibling, as I'm sure you'd want to meet her. If only to gage whether she's superior to your brain and brawn.
R.C.
"What a tubulauh burn, am I right? Uh anyway his next email is dated two weeks latuh."
To: Eira
Dear sister, Trott discovered our Scarlett Glass. I made contact and have spent some time getting to know her. She was skeptical of my intentions despite her being the poor one. It would seem you both are parallel in thought than you may think. As far as looks I'd have to see you side by side to tell. After speaking of you, she's anxious to make your acquaintance. Well sister, do you dare to meet our newly found sister?
R.C.
"Is that the last email between them?" I glanced at Carver.
"One more from Eira."
To: Roscoe
I commend your dedication to the search of our half sister. Honestly if I were her I'd be hesitant to trust you as well. As you still manage to give off so-and-so vibes. As for your query, it's a yes, as I'm far too curious to observe this girl. I invite you both to come stay at the Noctua.
E.C.
"It would seem there's a prospect Eira met heu sistuh." I pushed my chair back from the desk.
"I wonduh if there's any footage of theiuh meetin'?" Aud added.
"I'll have to hack the feed on Culpeppuh's tablet."
"Very well, Cuhv, we'll leave you to it."
"What?" Aud squeaked as I wrapped my arm around hers.
"You and I have a diary or journal to nab from Eira's study."
"Oh. That does seem more screamin' than starin' as Cuhv hacks."
