(A/N: As promised, this is the sequel to "It's Okay, We're Bestfriends, Right?" So if you haven't read it or if you forgot the story, might as well read it first before you read this! Enjoy reading!)

Baekhyun knows he loves Chanyeol, he loves him as much as he loves his members, as much as he loves his family. Chanyeol is more than a friend, he's like a brother to him, as if his life is deeply connected to him no matter and whatever happens. Because Chanyeol is his bestfriend, there's no doubt about it.

That's why it hurt when Chanyeol suddenly avoided him, as if he has done something wrong to taint their friendship this much. Chanyeol is one of the most important people in his life, so Chanyeol being cold to him was just very fucking painful that he didn't know what to do anymore. He felt sullen and broken, as if half of his life didn't function. Even Taeyeon couldn't help him as much, because he knew his girlfriend wouldn't understand. She'd never understand.

"Are you going to talk about him again?" Taeyeon asked over the phone once, and Baekhyun already knew that she's getting annoyed judging by the tone of her voice. "Seriously, Baekhyun. I'm tired of this."

"Tired of what?" Baekhyun asked, rolling over his bed, but he didn't seem to find a comfortable position.

"Everytime you call me, you're always talking about him. Do you think I'm not getting hurt?"

"I'm sorry."

"Am I not that important to you?"

"You're important to me."

"Tell me, do you still love me, Baekhyun?"

Baekhyun didn't answer. He ended the call and stared at the ceiling of his room. All he could see was dark, his mind preoccupied with thoughts he didn't know he should be thinking about in the first place.

He didn't expect it to say the least, that Chanyeol would confess to him that he loves him. The thought never crossed his mind though, but it did make sense as to why Chanyeol acted things that way. Chanyeol is in love with Baekhyun all along, and Baekhyun didn't know why he was confused. He's confused about getting confused about his feelings. He didn't know what to do anymore, so he asked Chanyeol to stay bestfriends like before. He knew it's the best thing to do. It's the safest thing to do. It's the best for the both of them.

His phone rang.

Baekhyun already knew who it was, but his fingers were weak to press the answer button, or he just didn't have the urge to talk to her. Otherwise, he left it that way. He never answered.

"Are you.. okay?" Chanyeol asked him amidst the dark. Baekhyun thought he's already asleep.

"I can't sleep," Baekhyun answered.

"Me, too."

The time Baekhyun asked Chanyeol to sleep with him on his bed, Baekhyun found the answers to his questions, why his heart was uneasy, why his mind was confused. It was not okay all this time, it was not okay that they're still bestfriends all along.

When Chanyeol asked him to hold his hand, Baekhyun answered it was okay, they're bestfriends, right? When Chanyeol asked him if he could hug him tight, he answered it was okay, because they're bestfriends after all.
