Nathan's POV:

I smirked,

"Over my dead fucking body..." I chuckled warningly. Trevor stepped closer to me so we were eye level, he towered over me but I wasn't afraid of him. Trevor chuckled and licked his lower lip,

"That can be arranged Sykes." And that's how it started. We were swinging left and right, kicking, swing, punching, flipping. I was doing very well until I threw a punch and missed. He grabbed my arm and flung me over his shoulder.

I landed on the front lawn with a giant thud. My back ached and it hurt to breath, he completely knocked the wind out of me. Trevor towered over my body and put a swift kick into my ribcage. I heard a crack and I knew I had cracked a few ribs.

The lads pulled him off of me but I knew there was no way that they could hold Trevor off. The son of a bitch was strong as fuck. I screamed and I heard a high pitched scream, obviously Kayla had seen me.

People had gathered around our front yard and I could hear people trying to figure out what to do. One person called 999 and I thought thank God. But there was no way I was going to leave this son of a bitch without a few broken bones and bruises to remember me.

I got up and put the dying pain in me aside and attacked the son of a bitch from behind with every last bit of strength and adrenaline I had in me before he could throw another punch at Jay.

Soon all the lads joined in and we took him down. By the time we had finished with him he was in the floor. Blood coming from his mouth, nose, a broken nose at that, a very likely broken arm and his left leg very broken seeing that it was bent almost completely backwards.

I fell to the floor on my knees in exhaustion and I could hear multiple footsteps padding across the lawn

"Nathan!" Kayla screamed as she fell on her knees and hugged me tightly. I groaned as I tried so hard not to scream from the emense pain and pressure Kayla was putting on my ribs.

The pain left my mind as soon as Kayla kept saying-or sobbing really- how sorry she was. I hugged Kayla back and told her it wasn't her fault. My back was turned toward where Trevor laid and Kayla's head was rested on my shoulder.

Then it happened......Kayla softly gasped before she turned us both around so her back was facing Trevor and I heard a gun go off. Kayla went limp in my hands. She passed out. That's when I started to freak.

It all happened so quickly...first the turn, the gunshot, Kayla passing out, the officers arresting Trevor and putting him in handcuffs in the ambulance. The medical aids rushed over with a stretcher and I helped them lift Kayla up onto it.

As soon as she was on it they took her away. I was screaming and fighting for them to let me see her even though I was in so much pain. It took 6 medical aids to get me onto the stretcher they had for me and get me into the ambulance. I think I might have bit one of them but I can't be entirely sure it was so hazy.

The entire time they were working on me I was just praying that Kayla would be alright and that I wouldn't loose my beautiful fiancé.
