Family Interview

Nathan's POV:

"I'm really nervous...what if they act up?" Kayla asked nervously. I smiled and held her hand reassuringly,

"You'll be fine, and we've been parents long enough to know how to calm them down." I said as I kissed Kayla's hand lightly. Tom nodded,

"You'll be fine love, and plus we'll all be there!" He said. Kayla nodded, still looking awfully nervous. We were on our way to the Daybreak studio to do out interview.

We pulled into the lot and saw the fans that were outside. We went out to talk to them, Kayla and I carrying the babies and Max towing the diaper bag. We took a few pictures and signed autographs for them. Kayla even had a few requests. She got loads of compliments as well did the babies.

The interview was about half over now and they had asked us about the usual. Albums, singles, rumors, girlfriends, the band, our music, etc.

"And now let's welcome Nathan's fiancé, Mrs. Kayla soon to be Sykes and their two children Anna-Grace and Alexander." The woman said to the camera. The audience clapped and cheered as Kayla came out carrying the babies. I stood up and kissed Kayla as she blushed. The audience awwed and I took Alexander. Kayla and I sat down with the babies in our laps,

"Oh my goodness they are so adorable! How old are they?" The interviewer asked. Kayla and I smiled,

"Thank you that's so sweet. They just turned 1 a couple of days ago." Kayla said quietly. The interviewer nodded,

"Oh sweetie you're so shy! It's so cute!" She complimented. Kayla smiled shyly and blushed. Then came the questions:

"Do you remember the first thing you said to one another?"

Kayla and I laughed,

"Um I believe I said: mOh good God I'm so sorry, I should have been watching where I was going' because I spilt her Starbucks on the floor..." I chuckled. Kayla giggled,

"And I said it's fine." She said quietly.

"Alrighty, next question: What were your first impressions of each other?"

I smiled,

"I thought Kayla was the most beautiful, caring, sweetest, cutest girl I had ever met." I said truthfully. Kayla giggled and kissed my cheek,

"I....I was a bit scared of Nathan at first. Seeing as I have come from a rough past with boys I hadn't found any boy that I could trust and love apart from my Daddy and Papa, that is until I met Nathan." Kayla said. I smiled and kissed her cheek. The audience awwed,

"You two are too cute ok so.."

"What things in each if your lives bring you the greatest pleasure?"

Nathan: Seeing my beautiful fiancée everyday. Spending time with my family, friends, bandmates and babies, making music. And tea.

Kayla: Um...I'd have to say spending time with my family, my new friends, and my 4 bundles of joy. Nathan, Anna-Grace, Alexander and Lila. Eating vegan chocolate chip cookies and almond milk. Making music and art.

"In what settings are you the happiest Eager? Most comfortable?"

Nathan: Happiest is when I'm with the people I love. Eager is when I'm on stage. And most comfortable in quiet places.

Kayla: Happiest is when things are quiet and I can write my music or sketch or read in peace. Eager is when Nathan comes home from work or from tour. Most comfortable is when Nathan and I cuddle on the bed or the couch because I feel safe.

"What things do you look forward to each day? In your life?"

Nathan: Everything having to do with life at the moment. Except waking up early.

Kayla: Pretty much the same (giggles) except I don't mind early mornings.

"If you had three wishes that would come true, what would they be?"

Nathan:
1. Eternal life
2. For the babies to never grow up
3. To have world peace

Kayla:
1. People to stop eating meat and realize what they're eating is something with a soul
2. World peace
3. For people to learn and love God's word

"Favorite color?"

Nathan: Blue

Kayla: Blush or a soft pastel pink
