Wine & Wedding Talk

Nathan's POV:

A few hours later we were all inside. The babies were watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and playing with toys that we brought over while the adults were drinking beer and wine whilst talking. Us lads were clad in our swim trunks and no shirts while the girls had change into spandex shorts and cropped t-shirts,

"So have you guys decided on wedding colors yet?" Kelsie asked. Kayla and I nodded,

"All pink pastels, just like my baby wanted." I said as I wrapped my arm around Kayla's shoulders where she sat in my lap sideways on the couch. Kayla giggled and nodded as I kissed her cheek. The girls awed while the lads fake gagged. Kayla and I rolled our eyes,

"No no no no baby." Kayla said as she gently pulled Anna away from the wine and beer bottle and the glasses. Anna simply just went back to playing with Alexander and her toys. Kayla layed back against my chest and I wrapped my arms around her tummy as I rested my head on her shoulder.

3 hours of talking, 2 diaper changes, 4 feedings, 2 glasses of wine and 3 beers later Kayla, the twins and I were in the car heading home. A half our later I was feeding Anna and Alexander while Kayla did a few more wedding planning things, asking for my opinion every few minutes. About an hour later the babies were on the floor watching Blue's Clues and Kayla finally sighed as she layed against the sofa,

"Finally done for today, now our budget of $40.000 and wedding party are done. Along with the guest list I finished the head count database to use throughout the planning process, with columns for contact info, RSVPs, gifts, I saved the date and venues, photographer, the videographer, entertainment, cake, and my dress plus accessories have been booked bought an saved." She finished all in one breath. My eyes widened as my eyebrows raised at Kayla. She had done all of that in only two weeks?! Of course I helped but still. I smiled and kissed Kayla's cheek,

"Our wedding is going to be perfect...I'll make sure of it." I whispered against her neck. Kayla sighed and smiled,

"I know, and I have the perfect way to have the babies in the wedding. They'll be our little flower girl and ring bearer. One of my bridesmaids will bring them down the isle while they ride in a white wagon with comfy baby pink lining in it so they aren't uncomfortable." Kayla said dreamily. I smiled as the image popped into my head, it looked perfect. Just like it's going to be.

"It sounds perfect. Our little angles have to be a part of our special day somehow." I whispered. Kayla and I watched the twins giggle at the telly as Anna played with her plastic toy keys and Alexander moved his hands in cute, distorted, little ways.
