Nathan's POV:

I woke up in the morning to the smell of tea. Cheers to my love for knowing me too well. I headed down the hall in just boxers, seeing as though we were alone. I waltzed into the kitchen to find Kayla just setting the mugs down. She smiled and gestured for me to sit. I did so and went to take a sip before I stopped and raised an eyebrow,

"Sugar?" I asked. She giggled which made me smile,

"Of course." I took a sip and sighed in ecstasy.

"Brilliant as always my darling." I praised. She blushed and put her head down as she sipped her coffee. We sat in a comfortable silence before I was finished and went to put my mug in the sink. Kayla set hers in there as well and I grabbed her hand and hip started to dance around the kitchen the way I thought was stupidly but apparently not.

"Wow baby you can really dance!" Kayla exclaimed. I widened my eyes and looked at her like she had two heads,

"Really? The guys say I can't dance." I admitted. She smiled a small smile,

"Nooo, you just can't hip hop dance, you can definitely ballroom dance though! You have great form, you glide across the floor, and you're not even dancing to a song and you're on time! I should know, I ballroom dance!" She boasted. I smiled in shock. She looked like she had an idea. She grabbed my hand,

"Help me move the couch and furniture and I'll teach you to dance, we'll do a Samba, it'll be fun! Plus," she said as we moved everything out of the way so there was a big open space,

"You can show the guys you can dance!" She said. I nodded hesitantly and we got to work. About two hours later I had mastered the Samba dance routine she had shown me. God I couldn't wait to rub it in the guys faces!

"Oh my god you did so awesome! Go call the guys, put some pants on and I'll go get dressed really quick!" She said excitedly. I swear she was too cute. I called the guys and told them to drive to Kayla's place and that we had something to show them. About 15 minutes later they were here, I was in sweats and a blue flannel with the first three buttons open and Kayla was in a black v-neck and pink denim short shorts. The guys looked expectant,

"So, what did you want to show us?" Tom asked. I took a deep breath,

"Kayla tought be how to dance, not hip hop dance but ballroom, now before you crack jokes just watch." I said nervously. Kayla started the music and we danced all across the living room floor. We were Sambaing to "Get Down On It" by Kool and The Gang. We finished as the music ended and all I heard was silence. We started at the guys as they more or less gawked at us. Then they slowly started to clap and then came an uproar of applause and whistles,

"Mate why didn't you tell us you could dance like that!?" Jay asked. I shrugged as I shyly his behind Kayla,

"I didn't know until today!" I said laughing. They laughed at then they realized they had to go. Tom and Siva were hanging out with Kelsie and Nareesha, Jay was going to go to a day bar, and Max was gonna go visit Michelle. We bid our goodbyes and after they drove off I closed the door. When I was back in the living room Kayla and I moved all the furniture back where it was. After we finished we sat back down and sighed, what to do? Kayla looked at my hair and crinkled her nose. I did the same face back before laughing,

"What?" I asked. She hummed,

"I wanna do something different with your hair...come with me." She said and lead me to her bathroom. I raised an eyebrow as she got some stuff out of her cabinets. I patiently waited while she fiddled with my hair. After about 15 minutes she took a few steps back. She smiled and lightly clapped her hands. She turned my towards her mirror and my hair was definitely different, but nice. It was in a quif like Siva's, but not as tall as I had shorter hair, it curved a bit at the top and didn't look like it had much product in it. I smiled as I picked at it,

"Wow baby, I love it, dammit what can't you do right?" I asked her. I gripped her thighs. She jumped and wrapped her legs around my waist with her arms around my neck. She shrugged and giggled. I smiled at her cuteness. I leant my forehead against hers,

"Boo." She said in a tiny little baby voice. I legitimately said aww and kissed her perfect lips. She whimpered,

"My legs hurt, damn you and that fucking counter." She laughed. I laughed and kissed her.

"I'm sorry, want me to make it feel better?" I asked cheekily. She laughs an then is taken over by a coughing fit. I don't think much about it until she keels over coughing really hard, very frequently and tears come to her eyes. I then start flipping out asking what's wrong and rubbing her back. When she finally stops she is breathing very heavily.

"Baby what's wrong?" I asked. She leaned against the counter and held her stomach,

"I think I have the flu." She whispered. She looked green. I felt her forehead and cheeks. She had a roaring fever. Poor baby. She was shivering though.

"I'm c-c-cold.." She seethed as her teeth shattered. I frowned,

"Well you have a fever, c'mon, you go get comfy baby." I whispered. She nodded and then sneezed into her arm. She walked into her room and I followed. She started almost limping and nearly fell. I skillfully caught her and held her close. I frowned,

"Sorry, I get really weak when I'm sick." She said noticing my worry. Her voice was weak and frail. I nodded,

"It's not your fault love, c'mon, I'll help you get dressed." I said softly. She could barely carry her own weight. I sat her down on the bed and walked over to her dresser. I moved on to her dresser and pulled out a pair of soft white long sleeved pajamas that had little mint green hearts on them. I turned to Kayla and stood her up again. I pulled my t-shirt off of her and slipped on the top and buttoned it up. I sat her down and pulled on her pants lifting each leg at a time before tying them. I also grabbed a pair of her light blue socks. I pulled my shirt off as well, knowing she like me better shirtless. We both got under the covers, me behind her. I trailed gentle kisses up her shoulder while I stroked her hair and upper arms. She turned around in my arms and snuggled closer into my bare chest. I wrapped my arms around her tightly as rested my lips against the top of her head.

"You're warm." She whispered. Her voice was a little raspy and quiet from all her coughing. It must have hurt her to talk. I kissed the top of her head,

"My body heat is all yours babe." I whispered back. She giggled a little. Just then my phone rang. I picked it up and put it on speaker.

Nathan:"Hello?"

Max: "Hey mate just checking up on you two."

Tom: "Ya, Kelsie told me the flu was going around."

Jay: "Just wanted to make sure you guys haven't got it."

Siva: "Nareesha's already been infected."

Kayla sighed: "Too late.." She giggled and then turned away from me to cough. I furrowed my eyebrows in worry and sadness,

"Aahoww." She whimpered. I frowned and pulled towards me again, stroking her hair softly as she sniffled.

"She had a terrible coughing fit earlier and she has a really high fever. We're taking it easy today." I explained. I heard them all simultaneously say "oooooh"

Jay: "Poor thing, get better soon Kayla!"

Kayla: (giggles) "Thanks bird."

Tom: "Get well little one!"

Kayla: "Thanks Tommy"

Siva: "Let's hope you and Nareesha get better, I want you two and Kelsie to meet soon!"

Kayla: "I hope so, I'm dying to meet her Seev,"(Sneezes hard) "then again I might just be dying" I cuddled her close and hummed a little tune. I could feel her un-tense and soon enough she had fallen asleep. I pulled the covers over us more so she could be as warm as possible without raising her temperature. I could still here shuffling on the other line.

Nathan: "She's fallen asleep mates, she really doesn't feel well."

Max: "Right then. Take good care of her Nath, you've got yourself a keeper."

I smiled as I moved Kayla hair out of her face,

Nathan: "Trust me mate, I've known since the day we met..."

They all chorused aww and said goodbye. I wrapped my arms securely around Kayla's before falling asleep.
