Nathan's POV:

When Kayla and I walked in the door, me carrying the bags, she squealed. I smiled because I knew exactly what she squealed at. The tree was up in a corner of our house. The tree was rather large and there was no blank spots which I knew Kayla had appreciated, it would have bugged her to no end if there was blank spots missing. There was no stray branches on the floor and there was a light pink tree blanket underneath it.

All the boys were standing on the left side of it where they had been waiting for us. Kayla was obviously really excited ran up to the guys and hugged them,

"Thank you guys for helping! This is going to be the best Christmas ever!" She let go and the guys said they were happy to help,

"Do you guys want to help us with the tree?" She asked hopefully. Her eyes were big and full of innocence and excitement. We all looked at each other and shrugged,

"Sure!" We all said in unison. We all grabbed decoration and hung them around the house and tree. Kayla gave us specific instructions on how to place the lights and ornaments,

"Baby come help me with this please?" I heard Kayla call from the bedroom. I left where I was helping Jay with lights on the tree and jogged over to our bedroom. Kayla was holding white lights in her tiny hands. Her hair was now in let down and wavy,

"What'd you need help with baby cakes?" I asked. She grabbed my hand and pulls me the the bed,

"I can't put this last string of lights on the top of the canopy.......I'm to short, pwease help." She said in a soft, baby voice. I smiled and cupped her face between my hands,

"Aw how can I say no to that face? Sure I'll help baby get on my shoulders." I said. I pecked her nose and turned around as I crouched down a bit. Kayla giggled and hopped on my back. I grabbed the bottom of her thighs and easily lifted her up onto my shoulders. I've been working out more since Kayla came along, so some things were much easier to do involving strength of speed for me.

Kayla slowly and carefully wrapped the lights around the top canopy part of the bed. The plug was on the wall near her side table by her bed. She wrapped the last bit and put a piece of tape over the useless plug part. The plug was on the inside so you couldn't see it when you walked in. I lifted Kayla off my shoulders and set her gently and carefully on the ground,

"Yay! Thank you!" Kayla said as she kissed me. I placed a hand behind her neck and ran my other hand up and down her side underneath her tank top and jumper. Her hands went to my cheeks and cupped them as I pulled her closer. We eventually pulled away to get air. We leaned our foreheads agains each other and smiled as we close our eyes,

"I love you so, so much." I whispered as I held her in my arms. She cuddled into me a little bit,

"I love you so, so, so much." She teased. I raised an eyebrow,

"Trust me sweetie, you don't want to play the I love you more game if it involves you......I'll always win." I chuckled. Kayla giggled. We walked hand in hand out to the living room where everything was set up,

"Do ya like it?" Siva asked. The tree was finished, the room was decorated and the only thing left was-

"My angel." Kayla said as if she had read my mind. She reached into a tiny box that was sat beside the tree and pulled out a crystal angel. She dusted it off with her hand for a second and looked at me with puppy eyes,

"Help?" Kayla raised her skinny arms up to me and I turned her around. I lifted her up and onto my right shoulder. I hooked my arm around her legs and held her steady as she very carefully balanced the angel on top of the tree. Once she was done she slid down off of my shoulder and plugged we both plugged in the lights. The entire tree lit up with gold.

The lights reflected off the ornaments which made the room even brighter seeing that it was dark outside and is was also 8:24 at night,

"It's so pretty....." Kayla said. The boys were all sitting on the sofa and Kayla and I got her love-seat. She was in my lap and we cuddled very close. The boys were talking amongst themselves while Kayla was slightly fiddling with her fingers and my t-shirt. She was very sleepy. I pulled Kayla's jumper sleeves over her tiny hands and rubbed her soft skin. I heard a cough. We both looked up to see the lads looking at us,

"We're headed home, have a good night you two." Jay said. Kayla did a cute, sleepy little wave,

"Bye bye Birdie." She said quietly. We all smiled. They left and Kayla snuggled into me closer,

"Today was fun." She said. I nodded and stroked her hair,

"Sure was." I said back. Kayla covered her mouth with her sleeve-covered hands, yawned and rubbed her eyes. I pouted,

"You ready for bed?" I asked. She looked tuckered out. She hummed and nodded. I picked her up and carried Kayla to bed. The lights were on and Kayla lit a Peppermint Candle, giving the room a nice glow. Kayla went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth. I took off my t-shirt and trousers then put on grey sweat pants. I went to the bathroom after Kayla to bush my teeth.

After I was finished, I walked out into the bedroom to find Kayla laying on our bed in a chocolate brown nightgown with baby pink polka dots. I climbed inside the covers and cuddled my love as close as possible to me. We both soon fell asleep after.
