Birthdays & Visits

(7 months later)

Nathan's POV:

7 months later and everything was fantastic! The babies were healthy, the wedding was in 3 months, Kayla and I's relationship was as strong as ever and everyone was as close as ever. Updates on the babies:

•They're crawling everywhere
•Anna said her first word at 10 months.
•Her first word was Muma
•Alexander followed at 11 months with Papamuma
•Both had full heads of hair.
•Both are very happy babies that love their mummy and daddy.

Kayla and the babies birthdays were also coming up awfully fast. Kayla was turning 20 and the babies were turning a year. Kayla's birthday was November 16th and the babies' were November 21st. Both were very special days. The days my beautiful fiancé and beautiful children were born.

Kayla was feeding the babies in the kitchen and I was getting their car seats together for our trip to the boy's house today. The doorbell rang,

"I'll get it baby." I hollered into the kitchen. I heard a faint 'ok' come from the kitchen. I walked up to the door and opened it to find the mailman there,

"Package for a Mr. Nathan Sykes?" He asked. I nodded and signed for the package. I brought the yellow envelope inside and into the bedroom. I made sure I was alone before I opened it. I smiled as I saw the invitations for Kayla and the babies' birthday parties. I made sure they were all there before hiding them with where I kept my hats.

Kayla and I loaded the babies into the car and drove off to the boy's house.

"Hey you guys come in!" Tom smiled. Kayla and I smiled and brought the babies in the house with us. Everyone greeted us. As soon as we got the babies out of their car seats they started to crawl on the livingroom floor,

"Hi kiddo, crawl to uncle Jaybird!" Jay cooed to Anna. Anna crawled as fast as her knees could carry her over to Jay and he picked her up as she giggled. Alexander waisted no time crawling his way over to Siva. Kayla and I sat together on the loveseat. Kelsie offered us champagne and we agreed, only accepting a little seeing as we had the babies here with us.

As everyone else talked Kayla and I had cute little conversations with each other. Kayla giggled as I whispered cute nothings into her ear,

"I love that we met, I love that nobody got you before I did..." I whispered. Kayla smiled,

"I'm happy too..." She whispered back. Kayla and I kissed when there was a light tug on my trousers. Kayla and I both looked down to find Anna tugging on them. We laughed and Kayla picked her up and sat Anna on her knee whilst Kayla sat in my lap sideways. I leant forward and kissed Anna's cheek as she giggled.

Alexander soon joined us. His back was rested against my chest and was sat on Kayla's left knee. The boys, girls, Kayla and I started to talk,

"Sooo. Are you guys excited for the wedding? Only a couple months away..." Max teased. I smiled,

"Yes we're both very excited about it." Kayla said. It was true. I was dying to be able to hold Kayla in my arms as my wife for the first time.
