First Night with Lila Gone Bad

Nathan's POV:

Later that day the boys and girl came and met Lila, obviously loving her to death. They decided to spend the night in the living room.

"Come here Lila..." Kayla whispered. She whistled a bit and Lila came into her lap as we were getting ready for bed. Kayla was already sat in bed while I was just finishing brushing my teeth. Afterwards I hopped into bed. Kayla and I soon fell asleep with Lila curled up above our heads sleeping peacefully.

~~~~~~Later at 2:75 a.m.~~~~~~

"Nathan wake up!" Kayla screamed. I instantly woke up and shot up out of bed. Kayla was holding Lila and crying,

"What's wrong?!" I asked. By now everyone else had come in to see what was wrong,

"It's Lila! She's freezing and barely breathing!" Kayla cried. My eyes widened as well as everyone else's,

"We have to go to the vet, now! You lot stay here and watch the babies!" I rushed. I pulled on shoes and grabbed the car keys and my phone. Kayla slipped on flip flops and grabbed her phone. We rushed out of the house and into the car. In the car Kayla wrapped Lila in a sweatshirt I had left in the backseat.

"Oh my gosh she isn't going to make it.." Kayla quietly panicked. I shook my head and reassuringly grabbed her hand,

"No no no, don't think that way baby girl...we just have to keep her warm enough until we get there." I reassured her. Kayla nodded and leant her forehead against Lila's tiny head.

30 minutes later we were sat in the waiting room of the animal hospital. Anxious to see how Lila was doing. Paparazzi were outside. Motherfuckers just don't know when to stop do they? It's a family emergency back off for once.

The animal doctor came out into the waiting room. Kayla and I stood up,

"Is she ok?" Kayla asked. The doctor nodded,

"Just a bit dehydrated, this is common in most runt puppies to be very easily dehydrated. Just give her lots of water 5 times a day. Right in the morning, after breakfast, after lunch after dinner and right before bed." She explained. A nurse walked out with Lila trailing happily behind her. I bent down and picked her up,

"Thank you so much." Kayla and I said. 30 minutes later we were back at home. Lila was drinking water out of her bowl. I put a few ice cubes in it seeing as she took a liking to having her water that way. After everyone was reassured that Lila was ok, we all went to bed after making sure she had drank all of her water and also makin sure the babies were alright before we fell asleep.
