Wedding Dress Shopping

Kayla's POV:

I was in our bathroom getting ready to go dress shopping with Nareesha and Kelsie. I first hopped in the shower and did my usual shower routine:

After I got out of the shower I wrapped a white fluffy towel around me and a coffe colored towel around my head. I then carried on with my after shower routine:

After that was finished I move onto my makeup:

Then my hair:

And then lastly my clothes for the day. I picked something cute but still easy to slip out of at dressings:

•My engagement ring of course

And I was done. I grabbed my voss water bottle and walked into the living room. Kelsie's car honked outside. Nathan was sat on the sofa playing with the twins, looking like the cutest daddy ever. I smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek,

"I'll text you when I'm coming home ok?" I asked him. I kissed the twins on their foreheads and Nathan nodded his head,

"Alright be careful cutie." He said. I nodded and we shared a quick kiss,

"I will." I said as I walked out of the door. I hopped into the car and we all talked on the way to Starbucks before we headed to the bridal shop. We pulled up into the drive through.

This is what we ordered:

Kayla: Grande Salted Carmel Mocha Frappucinno with Whipped Cream

Kelsie: Grande White Mocha

Nareesha: Grande Vanilla Bean Frappucinno with no Whipped Cream

After about 30 minutes and 3 empty Starbucks cups, we arrived to the bridal shop. The girls and I walked into the shop and a woman brought us to the waiting area. We were surrounded by gorgeous white gowns. Mermaids, ball gowns, short dresses everything. I had wedding fever. A woman in about her late 30s early 40s walked up to us smiling,

"Hello ladies I'm Cassandra your consultant nice to meet you. Alrighty now who's the bride?" She asked as she shook our hands. I raised my hand and smiled shyly. Cassandra smiled at me and sat down in front of us,

"Ok, can you tell me about yourself and the groooom?" She winked. I giggled,

"Ok, my name is Kayla Katherine Snow I'm 19 years old and I am getting married to 20 year old Nathan James Sykes. We got engaged about 2 weeks ago and this is my ring." I said quietly. Cassandra gently grabbed my hand and examined my ring,

"That's so beautiful! He must love you." She laughed. I smiled,

"Oh trust me he does. He'd be crazy not to love her." Nareesha said. I blushed and moved my hair behind my left ear,

"Alright do you have an image in your head about what your dress will look like?" Cassandra asked. I nodded,

"I'm very quiet and I don't like too much attention to myself so I don't want any gems or sparkles on it. No mermaids. I would like a ball gown or a fit and flare. I love everything vintage so something with lace and a bow....maybe a cream color?" I asked. She nodded,

"Ok and do you two have any recommendations?" She asked the girls. Nareesha and Kelsie looked at each other and shook their heads,

"Not really everything she said is exactly what will look absolutely beautiful on her she's very cute, sweet and innocent and doesn't like to look sexy out in public so I think it would be great to see her in something vintage.." Kelsie said. Nareesha nodded. Cassandra and I went into the fitting room,

"You get into that robe and your friends and I are going to go pull some dresses for you." She said. I nodded as she left the room. I undressed, leaving my bra and panties on and put the pale lavender silk robe Cassandra had given me on. I folded my dress and left it on the chair.

I grabbed my phone and opened my Retrica app. I took a silly picture of myself in my robe and sent it to Nathan. Cassandra came back into the dressing room with two dresses. I smiled. Both were beautiful from what I could see.
I tried on the first one and looked in the mirror. I smiled softly,

"Ok let's go." I said. Cassandra and I walked into the room where Nareesha an Kelsie were. They both smiled as they looke at me. I stood on the runway they had and faced the mirror. I turned around after a minute. The girls studied the dress,

"It's beautiful..." Nareesha said. Kelsie agreed. I looked down at mysel and nodded,

"It's is but...I just don't have that moment of I know this is it....you know?" I asked quietly. The girls nodded,

"If that's how you feel let's move on!" Cassandra said. I nodded and Clarissa helped me with the train of the dress as we walked back to the fitting room. The next dress was a fit and flare oatmeal color with a ruffled tulle bottom and smooth bodice. I smiled I the mirror,

"This is really pretty...I really did want lace though. But let's go show the girls." I said quietly. I walked back out onto the runway. The girls had bigger smiles than before. I turned around and awaited the girls reaction. Kelsie was first to speak,

"It's really pretty..." She said hesitantly. Nareesha nodded,

"But I just don't think it's for you, the color isn't what you wanted and I don't think you'd be really happy if you bought this one." She added. I nodded in understanding,

"Ya that's what I though too, it just doesn't have that aha moment in looking for. Back to the drawing board." I told Cassandra.

When we were back in the fitting room Cassandra brought me another dress. Once she got it out of the bag I could see the full view. I was awestruck. It was absolutely beautiful. It was everything I wanted. Everything I knew I would be happy to leave with today.

After the dress was on me we walked out into the runway again and I was already crying a little. The girls gasped and covered their mouths. I smiled as I fixed myself in te mirror. I turned around and the girls both said they knew it was the dress.

We went through the whole procedure of details and sizes. I needed a 0. We left the shop with giant smiles. Especially on me. I was beaming. I found the perfect dress and accessories. I got a small rose gold tiara, a beautiful lace vail, and a cute ribbon bracelet.

I texted Nathan like I promised.

'Hey baby I'm coming home! We found my perfect dress and accessories. 😙☁️🌸'
