Costco Correcting Math & Candy Cane Candles

Kayla's POV:

We parked the car and went into Costco after I showed the lady at the entrance my I.D. Card and we grabbed a cart. The first things we saw were these cute blankets. They were made of soft alpaca wool on one side and the other side was a soft color material. They were in various different colors: Coffee, Chocolate Brown, Baby Pink, Baby Blue, and Mint Green. Nathan picked one up,

"Should we get a couple baby? It's getting much colder, and......" He set the blanket down and wrapped his arms around my waist,

"Blankets are great for cuddling...." He said with a smile. I smiled back,

"Ok grab two." I giggled. He made me feel all fuzzy and warm inside. Nathan kissed my cheek and grabbed a Coffee and a Mint Green and put them in the cart. We moved on and grabbed two packages of chocolate brown and gold colored ornaments for the tree, there were 30 in each package so we got two.

We grabbed original candy canes and mint chocolate candy canes, gold and white Christmas lights, three vintage Santa Claus statues, two roles of cute Christmas wrapping paper, present tags, sharpies to right on the tags with, and plenty more things.

We arrived at the cash register and the lady scanned our items. She looked up at us as she did so and smiled at us,

"You two a couple?" She asked. We looked at each other, smiled and nodded. Nathan wrapped his arm around my shoulder and I leaned my hand on his chest.

"You look like you're really in love." She said as she scanned the last item, our mint blanket. I blushed and hid my face in Nathan's chest more, placing my left hand behind his neck and placing my right hand behind his shoulder. Nathan chuckled and rubbed circles in my lower back,

"Thank you we are." He said. It was true. I loved him more than anything in the world. She put our things in bags,

"Ok that'll be two hundred sixty-eight dollars and thirty-two cents." She said Nathan started pulling out his wallet. I did the mental math. Oopsies she did the addition wrong,

"Um actually we owe the store one hundred sixty-eight dollars and thirty-two cents." I said quietly, but just loud enough to where they could hear me. Both her and Nathan looked at me confused,

"Here you can check again if you'd like..." I said as I handed her my Kawaii Korilakkuma calculator. She entered everything in again and kind of froze,

"Oh my God I apologize I added wrong." She apologize as Nathan paid. She handed my calculator back to me and I put it back in my bag,

"It's fine really, it could have happened to anyone." I said sincerely. We said goodbye and walked out. After Nathan and I put the bags in the trunk we got in the front. Nathan started the car and we drove off to Bed, Bath and Bodyworks. When we got there we parked and went inside. I instantly pulled Nathan over to where the candles were,

"C'mon I need candles for the house!" I giggled. Nathan laughed,

"Alright, alright." He said. I looked at all the Christmas themed candles,

"Oh my goodness! Nathan they have the vanilla peppermint candles!" I whispered. Nathan smiled. He opened the bag we got at the front entrance and I put in 3 large and 5 minis. I found a pink cotton candy candle and I grabbed 2 large. Chocolate mint was next, I got three large. I thought the bag would have gotten heavy by now,

"Baby isn't that heavy?" I asked Nathan. He shook his head and made his classic 'what about it' face then smiled. I giggled. I cupped his cheeks, stood on my tippy toes and pecked his lips,

"C'mon, I need a few more things." I said. I gave him puppy eyes and tilted my head to the side,

"Boo." I whispered as I tapped his nose and skipped over to the soap. I found: Apple Pie, Peppermint Candy Cane, Pumpkin Spice and Vanilla Spice. I grabbed one of each and put them in the bag,

"KayKay, I'm done!" I giggled. Nathan smiled and shook his head as we walked to the register. We paid and got back in the car. As we were driving Nathan got a text message. He reached for his phone but I waved his hand away and grabbed it,

"No texting and driving, we could get in an accident..." I lightly scolded. Nathan smiled and focused back on the road. I unlocked his phone with his password, he had given it to me incase of emergencies, it was a text from Max,

'Hey Nath, Jay and I got the tree and we set it up in your house.' -Max

I stomped my feet on the floor very quickly and squealed quietly. Nathan chuckled,

"What's so exciting?" He asked. I hopped up and down in my seat,

"Max and Jay got the tree!" I said excitedly. Nathan aaahed and nodded,

"Alright well guess what you get to see it because we're home!" He said.
