We hadn't bothered with training instead we took Aiden and his mate home. Alexander's mother and father looked at the two with mild surprise as the girl clung to Aiden. She hadn't let go of him the entire way to the home.
"Oh my, you're so filthy." Aiden's mother reaches out caressing her cheeks, inspecting her body.
Aiden reached out pulling his mom's hands away. "Mom stop you're scaring her." He pulls the girl against her, her hand reaching out to stop her glasses from falling off.
"How'd you get here?" Aiden's father's voice broke through the room his eyes assessing her.
"I had a vision that I was with Aiden so i decided to look for him." Her timid demeanor made her movements seemed awkward.
"She's a seer, she has visions of the future." I wasn't sure who's memories the knowledge of what she was came from.
They all look at me as I looked at her. "If what she's saying is true." I add unsure.
"Where did you come from?" He continued his questioning. She pauses shrinking into herself.
"I have no memory except that vision of Aiden." Aiden who had been silently holding her spoke up.
"That's fine you're safe with us, with me." He looks around at us his small frame posturing that he would stand by his mate.
Alexander walks over ruffling his hair a proud look on his face. "You heard him." His father joins him ruffling his hair again.
"Stop." He turns red pushing the prying hands away.
His mother joins in resting a hand on the girls shoulder. "Ok, we'll do what the moon wants."
I look at the happy family feeling slightly envious as Nathan held me as he too looked on. Looking at the scrawny girl one more time I hoped she and Aiden would be happy together.
.....................
I'd finally gotten to start my training the next day. Nathan taking me back to the clearing after hours to test just how much I could do with my magic.
I held a fallen tree in the air with one hand the other at my side as the log stayed suspended. "It's not hard, it's like I'm doing nothing." I said looking at my target.
Nathan stood behind me watching on. "What other powers are you aware of." He asked his surprise having faded.
I drop the tree with a loud creek the vibrations tracking through the ground passing under our feet. "I can pull knowledge from the dead witches memory's'."
All the spells, enchantments and charms they'd accumulated over their combine very long lives was all floating around in my head. Alexander Aiden and Aiden's mate appeared, Nathan must have told them we'd be here.
Alexander greeted Nathan and I with a nod his brother doing the same. The girl gave a shy smile clinging on to Aiden in a vice.
He nudged Nathan's shoulder with his elbow a sly grin on his face. "Our mom caught him sneaking into Sarah's room last night. Bastard should have known nothing in the house gets past her."
Nathan laughed looking at Aiden who had turned red yet again.
So her name was Sarah. Looking at her her appearance had drastically improved since I'd last seen her. Her matted dark hair was actually a chestnut brown, her face wasn't filled with swatches of grime leaving her complexion even. She was nice to look at I suppose.
She wasn't at all bad looking, her tiny frame not yet filled out. She looked to be around Aiden's age, that meant she had more growing to do.
"It wasn't like that, I just thought she wouldn't want to be alone in a new place surrounded by people she didn't know." He defended himself his cheeks a flame.
