Over time I'd learnt more about what I could do, I soon learnt I had limitless potential.

Holding a flame in the palm of my hand I'd discovered if I wanted something enough I could make it appear. No matter what or who it was.

Holding the fire I could barely feel the heat of the flame, it's warmth equal to sunlight on a mellow day.

"Your magic is really amazing." Nathan knelt in the grass watching me the wind causing the flame to flicker.

"I never guessed I was capable of doing stuff like this." I'd learnt that magic usually came at a cost, the cost of mine I wasn't sure.

"The witches I've heard of could never do the things you can. Maybe it has to do with the part of you that's not a witch." He watched as the fire danced along my skin.

I let the fire dissipate taking a breath.

Using magic wasn't as difficult as I thought, it was trying to not unintentionally use it that was the problem.

"Maybe." I said dropping my hands to my side.

A sly smile crosses Nathan's face a moment later he pulled me down into him. He anchored me over his midsection the growing warmth in his pants pressed against my butt.

"Take a break don't exert yourself." His warms hands rested again my waist.

I ground my hips over him as I spoke. "You don't mean that."

He groaned his eyes turned to the sky. "I do."

"Then I can't take care of this." I reach down feeling him though his shorts. He hisses his finger abrasive around my waist.

We both turn our head as Alexander his brother and Sarah appeared out the trees. I try to get off Nathan but he held me in place.

"Do that at home." Alexander scrunched his nose in our direction taking off his jacket.

Nathan laughs finally letting me free. "You're jealous because you're mates not here and me and Aiden are having all the fun."

Aiden blushes as released Sarah from his hold, she looks back at us her hands trying to stop her glasses from falling.

I look at her again, something about her just put me on edge I wasn't sure why. Nathan's warm hands pull me flat against him, his lips going to my mark.

He must have known I was suspicious.

"I would have liked if Juana was here for the festival, she was a lot of fun last time." I feel his lips move on top of my head.

Alexander lights up for a moment before going back to his sullen mood. "Yeah, if you can call a bunch of us getting drunk and falling on our ass a festival."

I looked up at Nathan confused, what were they taking about? He kisses my forehead before offering an explanation.

"All the mated wolves pair up and the males try to convince the pack that their mate is best. No one ever wins of course." He laughs to himself as if reminiscing.

"We just end up going at it in the woods then passing out." Alexander adds from across the clearing. He'd started his workout landing kicks on a nearby log.

" I hadn't found you yet so it'll be my first time not just drinking myself into a coma." His lips are close to my ear his warm breath making me shiver.

"I can go too right?" Aidens question drew all our attention. A sly smile came over Alexander's face.

"No it's only for mated wolves just because you've found your mate doesn't mean your mated." He walks over to his brother pushing him playfully.

Aiden stumbles but doesn't fall, Sarah scrambling to right herself after being affected by the almost fall. Alexander grabbed her surprised, trying to help steady her.

Suddenly she tensed up as if all her muscle had locked at once, her body going ridged in Alexander's hold. Her thick glasses falling to the floor with a loud thud.

Aiden was quick to be at her side holding her ridged form as Alexander let go.  "What's wrong, Sarah." Aiden shook her trying and failing to snap her out of whatever trance she had entered.

After a long moment her body returned to normal.  She looks at Alexander ignoring Aiden's frantic look and begins speaking. "You're mate is going to go into heat early, you'll want to be with her."

My eyebrows raise at the sound of her voice, lacking it's usual shy demeanor. Her movements also lacked there usual uncertainty.

Alexander looks at her opened mouthed for a moment. "Are you sure?"

She nods taking her fallen frames from Aiden. "Yes you should call her." She relaxes as he embraces her finally telling him she was fine. I looked on noting her powers worked with physical contact.

Alexander's distant voice travels across the clearing for awhile before he turns back to us. "She's right I'm gonna go get her." Nathan nods throwing him his shirt.

He pats Aiden's shoulder as he leaves in the direction of his house.

I feel Nathan squeeze my rear drawing my attention. "We should go home." I nod looking over at Aiden and Sarah.

................

My legs were tangled with Nathan's as I watched something on the Television. He was really into whatever was happening, I was really into watching him be invested.

"We're going to be alone for your training for awhile, for three days at least." He rubs small circles into my thigh. I nod, I'd expected that Alexander would be preoccupied.

His hand continue their slow motion but I wanted it on my naked front. I look at the couple on screen there forms in the heat of passion and make my decision. I pause the movie with my a thought climbing on top of Nathan dispute his protest.

" I want you." I lock my arms around his neck fingering his mark and drawing out a moan.

I grind on him feeling him grow beneath me. "Isn't this better than what you're watching." I kiss the shell of his ear liking the shiver that ran through him.

He nods as he enters me joining our lips to muffle my moan.
