I called Mason and send him letters while he was in the hospital.
Tad tried to get back with me desperately, but I just couldn't date someone who would be so mean to others.
When Mason came back, his sister accompanied him and she was really thankful towards me.
She even cried.
Mason was moved back into my dorm, after I talked to the teachers.

"Hey, what are you watching?", Mason asked when he entered my room after knocking.
I smiled and petted the space next to me on the floor.
"Luca. I love it, it's so gay-coded.", I grinned. We watched the movie together and it was really fun.
Eventually I put my head on his shoulder.
"I...I really like...that movie.", Mason stammered, blushing.
I looked right through that. He was trying to say something important.
"I am so thankful for all your letters.", Mason sighed,"And I'm also thankful for your existence. Just being around you makes me feel better. You're laugh, it's an antidepressant. I can't be sad around you, except when I think of what I did to you when we were younger. I was a terrible child.", He chuckled.
"But you're an amazing adult. The past is in the past and as long as it stays there, I'll be by your side.", I replied.
Mason started crying, so I hugged him.
"I love you!", He sniffed eventually.
I held him closer and kissed his hair.
"I love you too."
