PoV Will
I really liked Victor. He was so nice and sweet. We trained together for what he called: "the day they will need us".

I got really skilled at my professions.

I also learned that, while the ghosts weren't, we were aging normally.

We watched the government turn against their own kind.

We watched the war begin and made sure, every soul found their loved ones.

"William?", I suddenly heard someone call. I looked up.

"Mum? Dad?", I asked.

"Oh, baby! Look at you! How'd you get so handsome!", my dead mother cried out. I ran into her embrace.

"Mommy, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to leave like that!", I cried out.

"The librarian told us what happened. Oh, my boy.", she sniffed, but dead people don't have tears.

"You've grown. You look just like your brother. Well, except for the hair.", Dad chuckled.

I giggled.

Yeah, my hair had gotten really long.

"So, we're dead?", my father then sighed.

"Yeah... I would show you around, but it's time for us to leave. We will fix your world.", I promised them.

"Will we be able to return once it's fixed?", Mum asked.

Suddenly Vic but his arms around their shoulders and told them: "nope! You're dead. Better get comfy!"

Then he walked past them and grabbed my hand. I blushed, then waved at my parents. Victor and I performed a jump.

We were invisible to the living eyes. Our mission? Kill the traitors to this kind and fix the system.

But first, we went to Victors old home. His Dad had something hidden for us.

"What exactly are we looking for?", I asked.

He shrugged.

"He said I might need it, if everything goes well. It must be some kind of artifact.", Victor told me.

I went back to searching. After a while, Victor appeared from upstairs, looking pale and in shock.

"Are you alright?", I asked immediately.

"Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I think it's been stolen. Let's get out of here. We have a battle to fight.", he said.

I sighed.

"Victor, is there something-"

"IT'S NOTHING! ...sorry, that was loud. Sorry, arg, let's just go!", he cried out.

I nodded.

"Vik? I had a thought. When we kill them, the war won't be over. The demons will keep fighting, until they have new leaders.", I thought out loud.

Viktor froze.

"You're right, captain obvious. Wanna point out more things that I already know?", he huffed.

I was a bit shocked.

We made our way to the government buildings, hoping to find the traitors there. I didn't say anything anymore.

"There!", Vic called out. I looked in the direction he was pointing at.

I saw one of the men I met at my school all those years ago.

What was he doing here?

Suddenly I felt a hard hit on my head and fell into the living view.
