PoV Till
It had been days since the incident. All of William's magical signals were erased. No body, just no William.

I didn't want to admit it, but I missed the little guy. He was my brother after all. I held him, when he was a baby...and also when he was older, because he was scared.

Little coward...

To think what terrible thing must've happened to the 15 year old, for him to just disappear like that...

We were searching again, but it was just my triplets, our dad and I.

Bill had locked himself in his room yesterday and he hadn't come out yet.

I could tell he felt guilty, but didn't want to admit it.

As always, the search was fruitless. William was gone.

PoV Will
I watched my brothers with an aching heart, but I also noticed the government demons following them. They didn't know.

Suddenly Isa came up to me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"There's someone you need to meet.",  she told me. I nodded shortly, then followed her. There, sitting on a rock was a man. He looked older than my brothers, but he was handsome.

When he saw me, he jumped up with the lightness and ease of a child.

He came up to me and hugged me. I was stunned.

"William! Thank you for being so nice to my Dad!", he cried out happily.

"I'm sorry, what?", I asked.

"Oh, sryyyy, I should introduce myself. I am Victor, the librarians son.", he told me.

In Germany they'd say

SCHOCKSCHWERENOT!

"What.", I blurted out.

"I know, he didn't tell you about me, to protect you. But now that you're dead anyway...", he giggled.

"I'm not dead. I jumped.", I stated.

"Jep. So have I. Means right now, we're dead.",

"Wait. YOU'RE A KNIGHT?!", I cried out.

"Sheesh, kid, you were supposed to be smarter than that. Yes, I'm a knight. Why did you think my daddy had all this knowledge and books? He studied the phenomenon, to help me. Sadly, I was foolish enough to brag about it, accidentally killed someone permanently and got hunted by the government. Woopsie!", he explained. What an odd man.

"Did they...catch you?", I asked.

"Yeah, that was a bummer. They did some cruel experiments on me, but eventually I was able to perform the jump. Been here for a few years, so I had time to get over it.",

"You're a really odd guy.", I finally said it.

"Yeah, well, I get that a lot.", he replied.

"Do you miss him?", I asked.

"My Dad? I mean, he's my Dad. I watch him sometimes. He also talks to me, when noones there.", he smiled.

"Does it get easier? Ever?", I asked.

He smiled at me.

"Yeah. Once you've accepted your faith, things will be better."

I sighed.

"I just wish I could've said goodbye...", I told him.

He nodded.

"Come on. There's some really cool stuff in the life of the dead, that I want to show you.", he then claimed.

I followed him.
