Our doorbell rang at 11 pm.

When I opened the door, my William leaped at me. I caught him in a hug.

"Daddy! Daddy, I was so scared, he was so mean! And then he was nice and then he let me go! Daddy, I'm sorry. " he cried. I held my child as tight as I could.

"Willi!", Bill suddenly yelled, running down the stairs. The twins hugged each other.

"I'm glad you're back.", my brother said, coming into view from the kitchen. William froze.

Then he turned to Ford.

"Not thanks to you.", my boy huffed.

"Oh. Well.", Stanford sighed.

"You told him, he could kill me!", William yelled.

"My boy, that was a bluff. I have known this guy for longer than you're alive. He wouldn't actually hurt a fly unless he's angry. I knew he wouldn't kill you.", my brother explained.

Wills lip was quivering.

"What if he had changed? What if he actually, what if he-", "he didn't. William, I'm sorry he put you through this. It is not your fault.", Stanford explained.

"Do you really not care about me?", Will asked, crying softly. My brother knelt down and hugged him.

"Of course I care about you. I don't want anything bad to ever happen to you. Please forgive me.", the grown man said firmly.

The boys grew into young men so fast. Bill and I fought a lot, but we also made up a lot.

He was just so much like me and I didn't want him to go down the same path. William got into the same College my brother had went to, while Bill stayed at home and went to the nearest one.

I was really proud of my kids, both of them, and I let them know.

I was so excited! Will was coming home for a few weeks! I missed him a lot.

"Yoooo"
"Who's got time to partyyy???", my friend Keyhole wrote into the group chat.

"I can't. My brobro is coming home today!", I texted back.

"Sick."  Keyhole texted.

"I am thrilled. Hope he didn't get to nerdy ;)", I wrote.

Then I went downstairs and got in the car. Soon my father joined me with a chuckle.

"You're really excited, aren't you?", he said.

"Yes. We going to speed?", I asked with a grin.

"Probably. We're a bit late and I'm excited too.", he grinned back.

We drove to the train station happily and arrived right on time.

When the train arrived I grew impatient. Then he stepped into view with his stuff.

His hair had grown and he wore different glasses. I remembered him telling me he was getting them.

My brother smiled at me, then came towards us. I put out my arms, but Stan was quicker. After him, I got to hug William.

"Hey.", he said.

Then he added:

"I missed you."

"I missed you too. Ford's making dinner, we should head home before home's on fire.", I chuckled.

Will smiled softly.
