PoV Tad
"He's in such a good mood, it's creepy. ", I stated. My older brother Zad shrugged.

"Maybe his date went well. ", my brother replied.

"He had a date?", I asked.

"Yeah. And you would've known if you weren't always at your boyfriends.", he smirked.

"Bill is not my boyfriend! We're...friends.", I huffed.

"Friends that fuck?", he chuckled.

"Well...that's none of your business! You said Dad had a date?", I tried to get to focus on something other than my weird relationship with Bill.

"Did you see her? Was she nice?", I added.

"I don't know. I left after you did. Maybe you should ask Dad.", Zad shrugged.

I nodded, then went to the kitchen. My father was humming along to a song I had never heard him listening to.

I had heard that song somewhere before though.

"Hey.", I greeted him.

"Ah, you're back! How has your night been?", he asked happily.

"Mine was great, but what about yours?", I asked.

Dad smiled brightly. It was refreshing to see him so happy.

"Oh, it was amazing! I haven't felt this good and alive in years!", he cheered.

"Is it serious?",

"I hope so. He's the best thing that happened to me since your mother died.", my father grinned.

"He? You went over the rainbow?", I joked .

"All the way!"

"What's he like?", I asked, filling myself a glass of water.

"Well, he's tall and really really sweet. He's smart too. He has long hair, it's beautiful. You can tell he takes good care of himself.", Dad told me.

I smiled softly and took a sip.

"Does he have kids too?", I asked.

"Oh, goodness, no! He's your age.", Dad let the bomb explode. I choked on my water.

"I'm sorry, what?!", I cried out.

"Don't worry, William is very mature.", Dad chuckled.

"William?! Don't tell me his hair is blue!", I asked quickly.

"How did you know?",

"Dad. That's my boyfriends twin!", I explained.

"I thought Bill wasn't your boyfriend?", Zad asked, coming into the kitchen.

"That's not important right now! Dad is dating someone my age!", I huffed.

"What's the problem?", asked Zad, "as long as they're happy."

I looked at my father. He was with Will. I mean, I knew the Cipher twins had Daddy issues, due to the lack of a father figure most of their lifes, but this? This was just weird.

"Is it bothering you, because I'm dating a 23 year old, or because I'm dating him?", asked my father.

"I...I don't know. I guess Zad is right. At least your happy.", i sighed.

I put my glass on the table and went to leave.

"Tad? Please don't tell his family.", my father called after me.

I left.
