PoV Will

"How did he do that?!", one of the men called out.

I watched them trying to find me.

"Maybe he teleported?", my teacher thought out loud. I used my magic to mess up their hair and tie their shoe laces together. Then I made myself visible again.

My teacher looked shocked. Everyone did.

"How?", someone asked. I shrugged.

"Maybe he does have special powers after all...", the principal sighed.

"Or he teleported again.", one man growled.

"Well, I did tie your shoe laces and gave you all a Mohawk. ", I giggled.

They looked at themselves, then each other.

"His win is legit.", they decided.

I went to the library that afternoon.

"Want a book about ghosts?", the old librarian suddenly asked with a smile. I turned to him, shocked and rushed up to his desk.

"How do you...", I tried, but he laughed.

"Listen, I've been around for a little while. I know a knight, when I see one.", he chuckled.

"A what?", I asked.

"A knight. You know, like in chess. You can jump. In this case it means you can jump between the world of the living and the world of the dead. One foot in the grave and fine with it.", he explained.

I looked around.

"Don't worry, there's noone here. Now, you know nothing about ghosts, right?", he asked.

"Only what they told me.", I sighed.

He turned around and grabbed a stack of books he had hidden. He gave them to me.

"This should help.", he said.

I thanked him and went home with the books.

It took me a few days to read them, but they were really interesting.

Of course, my brothers made fun of me, but I didn't mind. This was awesome!

I learned about new skills, that I taught myself and mastered.

It was hard to keep my secret though, but I was scared that I would be turned into a weapon if the adults knew.

Sadly it caused my twin and me to drift apart.

I missed the way we were, honestly. Sometimes I cursed my powers for it.

Bill even started picking on me and it really hurt. He was friends with my bullies in school, too. I tried my best not to win any tournaments, but I still got really good grades.

I became some kind of lone wolve. Well, except for my ghosts and the librarian.

The days went by and we grew up.

I usually spend my breaks in the library, but today I actually went outside because the weather was so nice. Suddenly I spotted a cheering crowd on the school lawn.

I also heard painfilled cries.

"What's going on?", I asked someone.

"Bill Cipher pissed the gang off. It's hilarious. ", someone laughed. I magically grabbed a cloud from the sky and floated above the scene.

My twin was on the ground, barely moving! I had to help. But how?

Them I remembered a spell I had taught myself a bit ago.

I used it on the attackers and turned them all to stone.

Then I dropped next to my brother.

"Bill? Bill, do you hear me?!", I cried out, desperately trying to get a response. He wasn't regenerating, plus I already saw his ghost shimmering.

Despite knowing that it was dangerous I used my powers to force the ghost back into it's skin. My brothers eyes snapped open as the healing process started.

Only then did I noticed the horrified faces around me.

Then some girls started screaming, trying to bring the stones back to life.

Our teacher finally made his way through the crowd.

"Bill Cipher! You turn your classmates back this instant!", the teacher growled, but Bill just stared at me.

"It wasn't Bill, Sir. It was that other kid!", someone yelled.

"William? You did this?", the teacher asked.

"It was self-defense, sir! They almost killed Bill!", I responded quickly.

"I don't care, turn them back!"

"Of course!", I said, then snapped. The attackers were back to normal within seconds, but they looked pale and traumatized. I bit my lip.

I might have forgotten to mention that the spell turned their eyes blind to living things, while turning their bodies to stone, meaning they just stood face to face with my ghost gang. Oops?
