"What do you mea- Oh!" Phantom said and his eyes lit up. "Well, I was the one who actually thought of the plan! I'm very proud of it." He said with a small laugh. Tommy was feeling a bit anxious, but he smiled and nodded. Phantom looked at a paper he was holding and thought for a second.
"The papers don't really explain it that much, want me to explain it?" He said with a smile, returning to the stacks to check Tommy's work. Tommy nodded with a nervous smile. "Sure!" He said and Phantom grinned.
"Well, the plan is we're going to call the villain up to the stage, say we're going to present an award. When he's in position, boom!" Phantom said, slamming his fist on his open palm. "We push the lever, the cage is dropped!" Phantom said, clearly enjoying telling his plan. Tommy nodded.
"Wait, how do you know he's going to come up to the stage? What if the bait doesn't work?" Tommy said and Phantom laughed. "Please. Who doesn't want a great award from the top three heroes in Dream SMP?" He said and Tommy scoffed mentally. "Maybe someone who hates heroes." He thought bitterly. Phantom thought about something for a while.
"Plus, he's got a huge ego. He won't be able to resist." He said with a grin. Tommy nodded. "Oh..." Tommy said. "How do you plan to execute him though?" Tommy asked. Phantom's grin widened.
"Fireworks." He said. "F-Fireworks?" Tommy said, his eyes widening. "Fireworks," Phantom said with a nod. "But how are fireworks going to k-" Tommy started, but Phantom cut him off with a laugh. "Timothy, fireworks are more dangerous than you think. If we shoot a firework rocket through the cage... Well..." He said and then laughed.
"It's safe to say the job will be done." He said with a grin. "Oh..." Tommy said, a lump forming in his throat. "Stop it! Why are you nervous? It's for the sake of Dream SMP, it'll be good for the country! Plus, it's a villain. So you don't have to worry." Tommy thought and nodded mentally. He sucked a deep breath in, held it, and then let it out.
"Well?" Phantom said with a grin. "What?" Tommy asked, a bit confused. "What do you think of the plan?" Phantom said, his eyes shining. "Oh... It's amazing!" Tommy said with a grin. Phantom returned the grin and nodded. "Thanks, Timothy!" He said with a smile. He looked at the paper that Tommy had in front of him and laughed.
"Well, you should sign that now." He said and Tommy nodded with a smile. "Stop feeling nervous! It's a good plan!" Tommy scolded himself and signed the document. There. It was final. The execution was happening, and there was no way around it. Phantom smiled.
"Timothy, I wanted to thank you again. You are a truly amazing worker, and I am very thankful for you. No one else could have gotten all this work done before tomorrow." Phantom said with a smile and Tommy nodded. "Thanks, Phantom." He said with a grin. Phantom nodded and looked at the clock.
"Well, everyone will be heading out in a minute, since the day is over." He said, getting up and stretching. "So, you should go home now. Don't worry about getting the papers to their final destinations, I'll have someone else handle it. You've done more than enough work for today." Phantom said with a smile, holding his hand out for Tommy.
That was weird since he was a ghost. However, when Tommy reached for his hand, he felt it. Phantom noticed the confused look on his face and laughed. "I can control how solid I am. Right now, I'm solid enough for you to be able to gently touch me, but move a bit too fast and you'll slip through me." He said and Tommy nodded with a laugh.
He opened the drawer Clementine was in, pretending to put his pen back. Clementine flew up his sleeve and he smiled. He got up, grabbed Phantom's hand, and the three of them walked out of Tommy's office. Tommy locked his door and realised Ph1LzA and Blade were waiting for the two of them.
"Hey, mate. Done with the work?" Ph1LzA asked Tommy and Tommy nodded with a laugh. "Yup. It was a lot, however." Tommy said and Ph1LzA smiled. Blade played with a dagger that had materialized out of thin air and nodded at Tommy, acknowledging him. Tommy nodded back and noticed the small smile that was visible under Blade's skull mask.
The group headed towards the elevator, and most of the ride was silent. The elevator door opened to a full lobby and Tommy jumped back in shock. Blade snickered and walked out, flipping his braid over his shoulder. Phantom turned to Tommy with a grin. "Be prepared for tomorrow, Timothy. Shit's going to get wild." He said and Tommy grinned. "Oh, I'll be prepared, Phantom," Tommy said with a grin.
"I'll be prepared."
