Chapter 224

    I laughed at Ender's reaction and looked behind us. "Wait, where are Tommy and Purpled?" I asked, causing Ender to also look behind us. "Maybe they stayed behind?" Ender said and I shook my head.

    "No, they have to leave early tomorrow, they wouldn't stay up that late..." I mumbled, thinking about it. Ender placed his hand on my shoulder and smiled sweetly. It made my stomach flutter a bit. "Well, you could fly around to see where they are?" He suggested and I smiled back, placing my hand on his. "Will do, boss man," I said with a wink and he blushed a tiny bit. I walked forward a bit and fluttered my wings.

    "Also, you should smile more often. It makes you look way prettier." I said with a smirk and he looked away immediately. I giggled and saluted him before launching into the air. "Alright, now where are you..." I mumbled, looking around.

    I fished some goggles out of my backpack and put them on. Benson peeked his head out of my pocket and quacked. I looked down at him and grinned as I adjusted a tiny screw on the goggles that adjusted my vision.

    "Yup, it's the heat sensor ones," I said and Benson quacked excitedly. He had helped with these goggles so it was pretty self-explanatory why he was excited for me to test it. "Alright, please work..." I muttered as red bodies appeared in my vision. I gasped and then cheered with Benson as I realised they were working. "Wait," I said and Benson looked at me with a confused expression.

    "How the heck am I supposed to use heat-sensing goggles to find those two?" I said and Benson paused. "Quack." He said, sinking back down into my pocket. It was like he was saying, "Your problem, you find the solution." I scoffed and crossed my arms.

    "Real helpful," I grumbled and looked around. I saw a flash of purple in an alley and decided to go closer. I flew closer and almost laughed with relief as I realised it was Purpled and Tommy. "Hey, what are you guys doi-" I said as I slowly descended, but got cut off as I saw them.

    Tommy had pinned Purpled to the alley wall and the two were firing pick-up lines at each other. The determination was clear in their expressions and the tension was so thick I could cut it with a knife. "But I could do you like my homewo-" Purpled fired, but stopped when he saw me.

    "Oh..." Purpled said, staring at me blankly. "Wha- Oh," Tommy said, also looking at me. We stared at each other for a good five minutes until Benson broke the silence. "Quack!" He said, peeking at everyone cheerily. We stayed silent for a few more seconds until I decided to say something.

    "Damn. Flirting without me?" I said with a slight smirk and Purpled laughed behind his hand. I heard a small warping sound beside me and instantly knew it was Ender. "I'm hurt." He said with a smirk, batting his eyelashes at Tommy and Purpled. Tommy blushed and glanced away and I laughed.

"Come on, you both have to leave early tomorrow."
