Chapter 239

    Tommy's heart dropped instantly dropped at Phantom's words. "T-Tubbo?" Tommy whispered with wide eyes. Tommy whipped around to look at Tubbo, who was grinning. Tubbo took Benson off his shoulder, handed him to Ranboo, and stepped onto the stage. Phantom smiled at Tubbo and Tubbo grinned back.

    "TUBBO, NO!" Tommy yelled but his voice was covered by everyone cheering. Tubbo looked at the crowd with a proud grin on his face. He made eye contact with Tommy and smiled. Tommy's expression was panicked but Tubbo's was cheerful and excited.

    "Alright, Tubbo, if you would stand over there, please?" Phantom said with a smile gesturing to a slightly raised platform. Tubbo nodded and walked over with happiness radiating off of him. Phantom looked at Blade as Tommy's heart raced. He nodded and Blade pulled a lever, causing a cage to fall onto Tubbo, trapping him. The crowd gasped and Tubbo's smile faded. "W-What? What's happening?!" Tubbo shouted frantically. Phantom looked at him with a cold expression, then turned to the crowd.

    "This boy," Phantom yelled, pointing at Tubbo. "Is Schlatt's sidekick," Phantom said as the crowd gasped loudly as Tubbo stepped back. "W-What?! N-No, it's not true!" Tubbo yelled, looking around wildly. Phantom smiled slightly. "But it is." He said, walking over to him. Phantom slipped his hand through the cage and put his hand in Tubbo's pockets. He pulled something out and held it up to the crowd. Tommy's heart dropped as he realised what it was. "T-That's-" Tommy thought, but Phantom finished his thought for him.

    "A honey bomb," Phantom said with a cold expression. Phantom threw the bomb and it exploded, splattering honey everywhere on the stage as soon as it hit the stage. The crowd gasped and Tommy saw Puffy's and Niki's terrified expressions through the crowd. Phantom turned to the crowd and looked at everyone.

    "That is a bomb that villains and vigilantes commonly use," Phantom said and Tommy stepped back. "Tubbo's been supplying all of the villains and vigilantes in Dream SMP. He is the reason for all the chaos." Phantom said, then he grinned. "And I got this from a reliable source," Phantom said, nodding at someone in the crowd. Tommy heard someone sigh and then walk past him.

    Tommy watched with horror as Eret stepped onto the stage. "WHAT?!" Purpled yelled in anger. "A traitor!" Niki said, walking forward with a heartbroken expression. "Down with the revolution, boys." Eret said with a grin. "It was never meant to be." He said, giving a mock salute.

    "Eret, how could you?" Puffy says, walking towards the stage as Tubbo grabs the bars of the cage. "Eret, I patrolled with you for hours!" Tubbo said, not believing it. Tommy shook his head and walked forward.

    "Eret, listen to me, and I mean this in the nicest way possible," Tommy said, reaching the stage. "You messed up." Tommy said, glaring at Eret. Eret just laughed. Phantom grinned. "I can't believe vigilantes are so gullible. They actually believed I genuinely wanted to patrol with them!" Phantom said with a laugh. Tommy clenched his fists as Phantom walked to Tubbo.

    "Tubbo, you do know that what you did is treason, right?" Phantom said, looking at Tubbo with a grin. Tubbo stepped back in fear. "But I didn't do it!" Tubbo yelled and Phantom raised an eyebrow, then shook his head with a smile.

    "People who commit treason are considered traitors, Tubbo. Do you want to know what we do to traitors?" Phantom said as Blade started walking forward and Tommy's heart raced impossibly faster. Benson quacked angrily and Clementine vibrated with fury. "W-What?" Tubbo said, trembling with tears pricking his eyes. Phantom smirked.

    "We execute them," Phantom said, motioning for Blade. "NO!" Ranboo yelled, trying to move forward but vines wrapped around him, keeping him in place. "I'm sorry, Tubbo," Blade said, walking forward with his crossbow. He pulled a firework out of his pocket and loaded his crossbow.

    Tommy watched in horror and let go of Clementine as he decided what to do. "T-Tommy?" Clementine asked, their voice shaking as Tommy walked up the stage. Techno lit the firework and aimed at Tubbo. "Fire!" Phantom yelled and Blade pulled the trigger. But not before Tommy jumped.

"TOMMY!"
