Chapter 30

To say that Stiles was pissed when after he got home from saving Jeremy's ass, he found out from Damon that Elena had tried to hand herself over to Klaus, would be an understatement. He was truly and utterly angry. It took everything in him not to go and smack the stupid selfish girl right across the face.

It's currently taking everything in him not to go across the room and shake her as she talks with Bonnie about the moonstone.

"Now that you've got this back, what are you gonna do with it?" Elena inquires.

"Right now, it's what's binding the spell. If I can figure out a way to remove the spell from the stone, the stone becomes useless." Bonnie explains.

"And according to Katherine, Klaus becomes vengeful." Elena points out.

"Not necessarily, unbinding the spell may break it as it no longer has something to root onto and if it doesn't then we just need to make sure he doesn't find out and to do that you need to stop trying to sacrifice yourself." The you selfish brat remains silent no matter how much Stiles wants to say it.

"Look I know your angry with me..." Elena starts but Stiles interrupts.

"I'm not angry Elena, I'm furious." Stiles states.

"What are you guys arguing about?" Jeremy inquires when he enters the room.

"We're not arguing about anything." Stiles replies before walking out of the room and heading down the stairs.

Soon after Bonnie follows him down.

"Are you sure we need to do this?" Bonnie asks Stiles.

"I need to see if Elena has learnt her lesson or if I'm going to have to actually smack some sense into her." Stiles informs.

"You're not going to smack your sister." Bonnie says.

Stiles turns his head to the sound of Elena coming down the stairs.

"Fucking watch me." Stiles growls out as he goes walking to where Elena is.

"Where are you going?" Bonnie asks, holding onto Stiles' arm so that he doesn't go storming towards Elena.

"Um, to see Stefan." Elena answers.

"You're lying." Stiles calls out.

"No, I'm not." Elena lies.

"Really? Tell your face." Bonnie retorts.

"Are you serious?" Elena demands, annoyed.

"She took the moonstone." Jeremy calls out from the top of the stairs.

"How did you...?" Elena starts.

"We tested you and you failed...you selfish bitch." Stiles explains.

"Klaus killed Katherine's entire family just because she crossed him. I can't let that happen." Elena informs.

Bonnie steps aside, pulling Stiles with her. Elena looks confused as she takes in the fact that she now has the ability to leave.

"Open that door and I won't be speaking with you ever again." Stiles warns.

Elena pauses but still she swings open the door and attempts to leave. Only to find herself trapped by an invisible force.

"What did you do?" Elena demands.

Stiles doesn't answer and instead moves to walk back into the kitchen.

He's so damn disappointed in his sister. There are always other ways and instead of looking for one, instead of fighting for herself and her family, she's willing to give up her life and die, leaving her family alone without her.
