Stiles wakes up the next morning to the sounds of birds chirping and bushes rustling from either the wind or animals scavenging. Stiles stays lying down in his bed and just relaxes to the sounds of nature. He doesn't get to listen to these noises in Mystic Fall's, their house is far away from the woods but here, this house is right up against the Beacon Hill's preserve. It sounds beautiful.

Stiles turns his head to look for his phone, charging on the nightstand. When he picks it up, his phone automatically wakens and tells him that it is 5 in the morning. He isn't going to go out for a run, at least not until he gets a better idea on the geography of Beacon Hill's. Instead, he gets up from the bed, grabs some clothes and heads to the shower.

A quick shower helps wake him up before he's heading downstairs and making his way into the kitchen. The place is covered in dust, so he sets about cleaning off the counters and checking the cupboards for dishes. He finds them right where he remembers them being from his childhood, but they too are covered in dust. Stiles sighs, a lot of his summer is going to be spent cleaning, he just knows it.

Stiles cleans up the dishes and sets them out to dry. There isn't really enough space for all the dishes to dry so he sets out some towels over the counter tops and then places the dishes on them. He looks into the fridge and then remembers that they have no food...or coffee, ugh. Good news though the fridge still works as it's suitably cold.

Right then, Stiles grabs his jacket and his keys. He pulls out a piece of paper and a pen and quickly writes Jeremy a note saying that he's going to the shop and that he will be back. Then he's off, out of the door, remembering to close and lock him behind him. It's when he gets into his jeep and takes a look back at the house that he realises that all of the windows he opened yesterday are still open and anyone could have easily gotten in and murdered them in the night. He quickly runs back inside and closes the windows before leaving the house again.

Stiles is in the main large grocery store that is in Beacon Hill's and is currently dragging an over filled shopping trolly behind him as he finds everything that they need to stock the house with. It's going to be pricey, but Stiles' website has been doing amazingly and Stiles now has a steady instream of money.

It's as Stiles is going over different brands of toilet roll, and really why do there need to be so fucking many, that he hears it.

"Mischief?" A woman's voice hesitantly asks.

Stiles slowly turns to face the woman and his breath gets punched out of him.

"Melissa?" Stiles questions.

Melissa smiles kindly at him before walking over with her basket of groceries.

"I thought that was you, I had heard through the grape vine that you were back and then I saw you standing there and...well here you are." Melissa says.

"It's good to see you. It's been what 12 years since I last saw you and you've barely aged a day." Stiles compliments.

"Listen to you. I will have you know that I have many a grey hair now, though not as many as I'm sure I would have had if you and Scott were still friends. You two were always little troublemakers." Melissa jokes.

"Oh god yeah, Scott. How is he doing? He's got to be what seventeen now?" Stiles inquires.

"Nope sixteen, just had his birthday last month before school ended for the summer. You forget that your mom held you back a bit, so you were the eldest in your class and Scott was in the school year bellow you. Most of your friends were if I remember correctly. He's doing well, he's currently working at the local vet's clinic in town. He's saving up for a motorbike and a tattoo. God knows why." Melissa huffs as she rolls her eyes.
