Jisoo's POV
There is a difference between having to do a sex scene that was completely out of character and kissing a trash can.

Wait. Never mind. They are the same thing.

The actor I was supposed to do it with sauntered over. "Hi. I heard some rumors about you not wanting to shoot the scene with me?"

He flashed what he assumed was his charming smile but it didn't work on me.

I glared at him. "Miranda Parks would never have a scene with you! Her character hates you!"

He scoffed and shoved his hands in his pockets. "The writers wrote it in."

I pushed a finger into his shoulder. "You told them to add it! I never agreed to sex scenes with you! I had a potential love interest that left the show! Aaron was in my contract! I was told I only had to film with him! Not you!"

He shrugged. "Times change."

I let out a heavy breath and rubbed my forehead. "I can't do this right now. I'm going to go speak to Levi."

Levi was the director of my show. The medical drama, Pitch Quiet Hospital.

It had an ensemble cast and everyone had their own storyline wrapping around their work at the hospital.

I had been on it for 5 seasons and mommy character, Dr.Miranda Parks Ph.D in Cardiovascular Health Care, was a consultant at the hospital and had a slow burn romance with one of the nurses.

Aaron is my gay best friend. He had a husband and a little girl.

The producers hadn't wanted to hire him, stating that it wouldn't be believable for a gay man to act straight. Aaron knocked him out of the park and we haven't looked back since.

That's why I was fine with it.

But Aaron got injured during a mountain biking accident and he can't walk so I had to film with someone else this season.

My character wasn't supposed to just give up on Ryan (Aaron's character)!

No, Miranda had worked her ass off and managed to push herself through lots of obstacles.

I walked over to Levi who was the director and asked, "What is going on? Why are you making my character go for Dan? That makes no sense!"

Levi sighed. "Let it go Jisoo. You're getting paid right? Why shake a sinking boat?"

I widened my eyes. "What do you mean by sinking boat?"

He rubbed his face and I noticed he looked tired.

I took a step forward. "Are you alright?"

He chuckled lightly. "Maybe. The pressure from the network is getting to me. You know the ratings have been dropping since Aaron left. They liked your chemistry."

I shook my head na crossed my arms over my chest. "Then what are we going to do? I won't let go character go for Dan."

He smiled grimly. "That's why we're pulling in some reinforcements."

I blinked. "Reinforcements?"

He nodded. "We need to find some way to boost up ratings."

I shook my head. "I meant who?"

He smiled. "A new character is going to act as your intern on the show."
