(Jisoo POV)

"AAAAAND....THAT'S A WRAP ON PRODUCTION BREAK FOR CHRISTMAS!"

Everyone cheered and clapped loudly while Jennie and I were trapped in the small bathroom where we were filming in.

I was holding the fake pregnancy test in my hand and Jennie was against the wall.

We both blew out a breath and smiled at each other.

"Finally we get a break from all these people." It sounded mean but she had a smile on her face so it was playfully.

I nodded lightly. "Yes...." I looked back at her. "There's Diana's Christmas Eve party. She wanted us to com to her house."

Jennie smiled. "Yes." Then she started jumping up and down. "I'm so excited! Can you imagine who might come?! With the film industry making a move in the right direction for diversity, I think a lot of people might want to get on her good side."

"Yeah. I think she already knows a few celebs that have been producing her movies. This is her first TV series so I'm not sure who's backing her."

Jennie blinked. "I am."

I widened my eyes. "You?"

She nodded. "I believed in this project. So...yes...I'm one of the producers."

My jaw dropped. "How much money do you have?"

She chuckled. "Too much for one person. I should really consider getting a pet."

I smiled. "What would you get if you could?"

She sighed but the answer came immediately, "A brown Pomeranian and I'm name him Kuma."

I chuckled. "Good. Maybe you should get him for Christmas."

She shrugged. "Maybe." A slight shadow crossed her face.

Then I had an idea. "Hey!" Her head turned to me. "What if we go together?"

"You mean the both of us? To the party?"

I nodded. "The both of us. We can have some bonding time. We just became friends. Maybe we can get to know each other better."

She seemed hesitant.

"Jennie...I'm not going to change. I like you. I want to be able to talk to you everyday. My bitch mood isn't a switch that I flip on and off."

Jennie laughed. "It seemed like it was since I came on Pitch Quiet."

I shook my head. "That's different. Believe me now. I won't insult you, mock you or do any of the shit I've been doing until now...."

I sighed.

"Will you trust me?"

Trust was a big thing for both of us.

I didn't trust people as easily after the heartbreak from Jennie and then my divorce.

Jennie didn't trust people as easily either because of her parents abandoning her and her failed relationships.

But she looked at me, her eyes still holding hesitation before she nodded slowly.

"Yes...I...I trust you."

I smiled and stood up.

I held my arms open for her and she chuckled before wrapping her arms around my waist and turning her head to the side, so that her face was buried in my neck and her ear was over my heartbeat.

I wrapped my arms around her and said, "Thank you for taking care of me when I was sick."

She laughed and I felt her smile against my skin.
