Jisoo's POV

I sit on the courthouse stairs and wait for my love and her lawyer to get here.

They spent hours over the past few months and sleepless night to figure out how to put the people that cheated her in jail.

I'm wearing a business casual pantsuit and came super early so that I might avoid the paparazzi and I told Jennie to do the same.

She was telling me she was on her way but then her lawyer found something and she hung up.

I pull out my phone and play SUPERSTAR SM while I wait.

I'm on the level with Red Velvet's Psycho when Jennie's car pulls up.

I turn off my phone and stand up as Jennie jumps out of the car in her own pantsuit and runs into my arms.

I wrap my arms around her and hug her tightly. I sigh happily and I see her lawyer walk up to us as well.

Jennie pulls away and says with a smile, "Hae-In has been a lot of help!"

I nod and turn to my ex-husband.

He holds up his briefcase with a small smile. He pats it and says, "We can do this!" He pulls his hand away and into a fist. "Fighting!"

I chuckle and nod. I grab Jennie's hand and all three of us walk into the courthouse.

Once we get inside, Jennie sits in her seat and asks Hae-In for some notes. He gives it to her and she starts reading with concentration.

I pull him away and say, "Thank you. For doing this for her. I really appreciate it."

He smiles warmly. "It's the least I could do," he says and with a shaky breath. "I didn't.....I broke your heart and didn't give us a chance. I got jealous and abandoned you when someone with your career needs to have someone support you. I'm...." He smiles again. "I'm glad that Jennie is the one that stands by you. She's incredible funny and such an empath and I felt very vindictive during this case. I'll try my best."

I nod and squeeze his forearm. "That's all I'm asking."

He nods and pressed his hand over mine.

"This is the last court day. I don't know if I'll see you again. You might want to go and celebrate with Jennie after—"

"So confident Mr.Jung?" I ask with a smirk.

He laughs and nods. "Just listen."

I nod and he continues, "I'm so sorry I hurt you in our relationship. I had taken this case in a hope to make it up to you. I was too much of a coward to say it but it was my fault. Everything had been going smoothly and I ruined it. So I hope you can forgive me."

I nod. "Of course Hae-In. Of course I forgive you. I hated you for a while but I forgive you now. Don't worry. Keep a peaceful mind and protect Jennie."

He nods and goes off to sit next to the love of my life.

I cross my arms over my chest and laugh to myself.

My fiancé and my ex-husband sitting amicably together. Who knew this could happen?

The judge walks in later and we all rise.

I am in the stands right behind Jennie and I can see her fidgeting with her fingers like she does when she's nervous.

When he tells all of us to sit down, Hae-In gently pays her hand and Jennie gives a grateful smile.

I smile and sit with my legs together and my hands clasped tightly in my lap.
