32 | one month

third person's pov

his phone rings, loudly across the room. he just ended his live, getting up to answer the call.

"hello?"

a soft voice greets him, "hi chan. it's me, yerin"

"oh hi! gosh, how are you now? how was the fan meeting? did i do good?" a chuckle filled his ears from the other line.

the girl answered, "i'm fine, thank you. the fan meeting was mind-blowing. and you did good, still looking crispy"

chan's beautiful laughters filled the room, "crispy? gosh you need to stop hanging out with stays"

yerin laughs along, "but it suits you, and i like hanging out with stays"

"i even made a new friend from choc factory"

chan hummed while checking out the beat in his studio, "yeah? what's the name?"

"i dont think she's from korea. her name is alya" 

and with that, chan has his full attention now as he heard a familiar name. 

"you mean alya, the malaysian archer?"

yerin's confused, "she's an archer? oh wow i guess stays are all talented"

"what else did she say about herself?" chan asked out of curiosity.

"hmm let me recall" a few seconds later, as chan's mind is going crazy, yerin respond, " oh her bias is seungmin. he's lucky, got an archer as his fan"

archer, alya, bias, seungmin.

four words replayed in chan's mind. 

"hey yerin, can i call you later? i have some things to do, i'm very sorry-"

yerin quickly cuts him off, "eh no no it's okay. go on, bye chan!"

the line then goes quiet as it ended. chan quickly went to see seungmin at his dorm which is a little far.

a few minutes passed by, until he reached the dorm.

"hyung?" jeongin answered the door, inviting the elder to come in.

"where's seungmin?" chan looks around, greeting lee know and sat beside felix before jeongin joins them on the couch.

"he went out this evening after the meeting" felix said, focused on the tv screen.

"until now? did he tell you guys when will he be back?" chan stared at the clock that shows it's already 11 p.m. it's late.

"nope, but he was in a rush earlier" felix answered, slurping on his iced coffee that he made.

jeongin steal a glance at chan, worried if chan knows about seungmin's secret. even if jeongin accidentally saw them, he didnt tell anyone. it's seungmin's secret to tell, not his.

"does he looks like he has any problems? or like he's acting suspicious?" 

lee know furrowed his brows, shaking his head, along with felix. all eyes then on jeongin, who smiles awkwardly and raised his shoulders.

"let me call him" jeongin said, nervously. 

he grabs his phone and goes to the kitchen, "aigoo, what to do" he dialled the elder's number.

it rings for three times before a groggily voice greets him, "eo what is it" 

seungmin sounds sleepy, and a yawn follows by.
