[Chapter Twenty-Four]
I didn't even have time to react before the room was flooded by different heroes. Katsuki shoved me to the side, but he couldn't do anything before he was entangled in a gray scarf. I felt my eyes widen and turned my attention to the door where Aizawa stood, his eyes a deep crimson color.
"A-Aizawa-sensei?"
"Sorry, kid," He muttered, yanking Katsuki to him as he placed some kind of handcuffs on him that completely covered his hands, preventing him from using his quirk. "I didn't have a choice."
I stepped back. Dabi was fighting the heroes, ducking and weaving around them, knocking them away from him without the use of his quirk. His eyes narrowed, his jaw tightening when Endeavor entered the room. The hero seemed to catch him off guard, and he was grabbed from behind. Kimina cried out when his head was smashed against the wall, his eyes rolling into the back of his head.
My heart raced against my ribs. I continued to limp back until my back hit the wall behind me. I tensed up as Hawks approached, my eyes wide and my body shaking. I heard Katsuki yelling, but I couldn't distinguish his words past the ringing in my ears.
Hawks seized my wrist before I could even think about darting to the side. I tried to fight against him, but he was so much stronger than I was. He easily overpowered me, bending my arm as he took one of his feathers into his hand. I cried out at the feeling of the sharp edge cutting through my palm, slicing it open.
"Hawks!" Aizawa yelled. "A prick on her finger would have been enough!"
"This is the way you did it to Daisuke Coran, wasn't it?" He asked, glancing at me.
"Let me go!" I yelled, my nails digging into his wrist. I began to yank and pull harder when I saw Kimina being shoved toward me. My heart sank into my stomach and I began to panic. "Stop! Let go!"
"What the fuck are you doing?!" Katsuki shouted. "Let go of her!"
I felt my eyes widen further when Hawks cupped the underside of my elbow with one hand, pushing up at the same time that he pulled my wrist down. My scream bounced off the walls, drowning out Katsuki and Kimina's voices as the bone in my arm snapped. Tears raced down my cheeks as I cried, a searing hot pain rushing through me.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Kimina exclaimed as she was forced to her knees in front of me. "Hawks, stop hurting her!"
"Why do you care?" He asked.
"She hasn't done anything!" She shouted. "I'll surrender if you let her go! God, what the fuck is wrong with you!?"
Hawks didn't let go of me. He just yanked me forward, his grip on my wrist tightening when my leg buckled under me. I sank into a half-kneel, trying to writhe away from him. Every time I moved, a new wave of pain raced up my arm into my shoulder. My chest rippled with my hiccuping breaths, my pleas falling upon deaf ears as I begged Hawks to let me go.
