I watched as Sabrinna silently fed Sandy, while barely touching her own food, Her usual cheerfulness was gone, replaced by a quiet tension that made it clear just how unsettled she was after seeing Prime. She barely touched her food, and her mind seemed a million miles away.

I could see the struggle she was going through, and it wasn’t lost on me that my unexpected appearance had stirred up old wounds, but I could tell that meeting Prime had thrown her off balance.

I sighed and took another bite of my meal, trying to ignore the growing sense of frustration bubbling inside me.

In the back of my mind, I couldn’t help but curse my other cousin. This whole setup had seemed like a good idea at first, but now it felt like a giant mess.

I knew that messing with Prime wasn’t a small deal. Our family knew how he make things hell for anyone who dare crossed him. And here I was, stuck in the middle of it all.

I couldn’t help but regret my decision to get involved, knowing that Prime’s presence would create chaos. I swallowed my food with a heavy heart, silently hoping I’d make it out of this mess in one piece.

I glanced over at Sabrinna, who was now giving Sandy a soothing pat while still barely eating. Her eyes were lost in thought, her mind clearly preoccupied.

I couldn’t blame her, I would be rattled too if I were in her shoes. But this wasn’t just about her. It was about making things right and ensuring that, somehow, we could all move forward without causing more damage.

As I chewed slowly, I tried to focus on the task at hand, preparing for whatever confrontation with Prime that lay ahead. I knew that whatever happened next would require a lot of patience and maybe even more luck..

God, please give me a chance to live, I promise not to tease my cousin next time.

I finished my meal first, glancing at Sabrinna who was still lost in her thoughts. Her focus was entirely on Sandy, and she barely noticed me.

"Hey, I’m just going to meet Prime. I’ll be back later," I said, trying to keep my tone casual.

She only nodded without even looking at me, so I quietly stood up and made my way to the VIP room reserved exclusively for the Ashford family.

As I opened the door, I saw Prime sitting on the sofa, holding a piece of paper. I swallowed hard, trying to steady my nerves as I stepped inside.

"Prime," I called out, trying to keep my voice steady. "You wanted to talk to me?"

Without even looking up, Prime asked, "What’s your relationship with her?"

I stood there, dumbfounded, and couldn’t help but think, Is my cousin seriously this clueless? I mean I'm certain that he saw Sandy.

I took a deep breath, trying to keep my frustration in check. "We don’t have a relationship," I said, looking straight at Prime. "I’m just here because of what you asked us to do."

I sigh then straightened up, my playful demeanor replaced by seriousness. “Look, we’ve found her. Now it’s your turn to step up and handle what you need to do.”

Sabrinna POV

I finished feeding Sandy and looked down at my plate, which was still full of food. My appetite had vanished completely after seeing Prime.

I wondered what I was supposed to do now.

I wasn’t trying to hide Sandy from anyone, I was just scared that Prime and his family might try to take her away after everything that happened in the past.

Sandy was my little miracle. I nearly lost my life giving birth to her, and I couldn't bear the thought of losing her now.

She was everything to me. As I watched her playing with her toys, I felt a pang of anxiety. I wanted to keep her safe and make sure she was happy.

I couldn’t shake the feeling that my whole world might change in an instant. Prime’s appearance brought back so many memories and fears.

I didn’t know what he wanted or what he might do. I had to protect Sandy at all costs.

So, while I sat there with a plate of untouched food, I tried to figure out my next move.

As I sat there, lost in my thoughts, Cyrus came back with a smile on his face.

“You should go talk to Prime,” he said, his tone reassuring. “I’ll look after Sandy while you’re gone.”

I hesitated, my mind racing with worries about what might happen. What if Cyrus tried to take Sandy away from me? Seeing my hesitation, Cyrus must have noticed the fear in my eyes.

“Don’t worry,” he said. “I’m not going to harm Sandy or take her away from you. I just want to make sure she’s safe while you sort things out with Prime.”

His words offered some comfort, though the uncertainty lingered.

I glanced at Sandy, who was happily playing with her toys, and took a deep breath. I had to trust that Cyrus wouldn’t do anything to hurt her.

Finally, I nodded and prepared myself to face Prime.

A staff member led me to the VIP room where Prime was waiting. As I stood in front of the door, my heart raced with anxiety.

I wondered what would happen if I went inside and spoke to him. Would things change for the better, or would it make things worse?

I had Sandy now, a precious child that I need to protect. Despite my best efforts to protect her, I knew she would still long for her father.

I noticed how much she smiled around Cyrus, how she seemed to light up whenever he played with her.

Sandy was usually wary of strangers, crying and running to me if anyone unfamiliar tried to touch her.

But not with Cyrus.

She seemed comfortable with him, which only added to my confusion and worry.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady my nerves.

I had to face Prime and see what could be resolved. For Sandy's sake, I needed to be brave and handle this as best as I could.
