chapter 1 : the introduction

author's note: i only own luna, xavier and her parents' characters. the entirety of the rest of the fanfiction has been based off of the harry potter series by jk rowling.

luna's pov:

hello, i am luna adams.

 ive been raised in the sweetest muggle family, my ma, pa and brother (we are twins and we have no idea who is older) have always been nothing but quite possibly the best family members to me. 

ma and pa ^^

according to my parents, me and my brother: xavier, are 'blessings' pretending to be satans little minions. lets just say, me and my brother often cause mayhem and we weirdly enough enjoy it.

 xavier^^

my pa found us in a basket at privet drive, when he went there for work about 11 years from now.  neither of us till date know why and when we were left there, very visibly in a big fruit basket (in which we were apparently barely fitting in) and how no one sighted us except my pa.

ma and pa after years of trying for children unfortunately haven't been able to, so my pa finding us there was something of a happy coincidence. after months of paperwork and filing of identities later my parents could finally christen us their owns. no one had claimed us and hence they took us in very happily.

a few weeks ago, when xavier and i had just returned from school (the muggle one) and were sitting on the sofa fighting for the last piece of cookie something interesting happened:

"i earned this cookie for having to deal with your pig like face all these years" xavier huffed while craddling the jar with one single cookie like a baby.

"WE ARE TWINS, if im a pig you're for sure a hog. give me that right this instance" i said, and feverously started smacking xavier's head.

whilst i was doing that the jar fell from his hand and the single cookie fell onto the floor and a caramel coloured owl swooped in through our window and took the cookie. we were too stunned to see an owl in our house to really feel the pain of losing the cookie (we both sat in silence for 8 minutes afterwards in honour of the cookie)

the owl dropped two hefty envelops with a red stamp onto our sofa and left causing equal amount of chaos as it had while coming in, we heard ma gasp from behind us. 

"your aunt susan did tell us we are too old to be adopting a set of twins and that we would soon go insane; i didnt think someone who thinks forks are susceptible to 'joo joo' powers would be right but apparently i was wrong" ma said in one breath

"okay so i didnt imagine that, thank god im too young to be delusional" luna said

xavier took the 2 letters and read out loud -

"its from hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry"

after about the entire day of my parents and us going through different phases: first being denial, we were convinced its some sort of sick joke. then my pa thinking its a bad dream, we finally concluded on the fact that me and xavier did have magical powers and that we in fact were as "joojoo" like as aunt susan told us that one time we broke her hair pin into 5 pieces somehow.

my parents despite being somewhat weirded out, still were the ever supporting parents, being proud of us and somehow always 'knowing' we were special.

the days after was filled with deciphering the ways of non magic people, me learning the word "muggle" from a red haired boy named 'won' or something at the ollivander's when we went shopping and xavier shouting "SO LONG SUCKAS" to our muggle school bullies on the last day of the term.

safe to say, both me and xavier were scared and excited at the same time and could not wait for the 1st of september.

author's note: the next chapter would be the starting of year one; although after that i'll fast forward to year 3 from the next chapter, since the first 2 years aren't that significant to george and luna's story.

also leaving luna's face to be however you guys would imagine her to be.
