Ella walked down the hallway. She had been in a long surgery most of the night and she was tired. She grabbed herself a coffee from the machine. She looked to see Anna as she walked over to her

"Did you hear izzie is back?" Anna asked as Ella looked to her

"Who? Oh wait cancer back. What is she back for your brother" Ella asked. Anna looked to her and shrugged

"I have no idea. All I know is miss prissy broke my brothers heart and he's been an arse and moody since" Anna siad. They walked down the hallway. Ella frowned as she saw izzie as she stood with Cristina, Meredith and Charlie and derek

She looked to see Alex as he walked in behind her and Anna. She looked to Alex and saw the look in his face as he saw his exchanged wife before he walked off after he and izzie made eye contact

"Alex" Anna called after her brother

"Wow cancer wife is a notch even if he is a massive ass" Ella said as Anna grabbed her arm and lead her out of the room as they walked off after izzie

"She's not worth it" Anna said as Ella nodded as she followed her out of the area that they were standing.

Ella knew how things had been with her and Alex and how they had been at each others throats since the merger and since izzie left and she hated it. She couldn't help but feel guilty over how she had acted but she remembered how he had acted to her and how he was far from innocent in this

"Do you think that she is back for him" Ella asked as Anna scoffed

"After how she treated him I hope not. He's tried for weeks to get in touch with her and she was a complete bitch and ignored him. My brother deserves better" Anna said as Ella looked to her and smiled

Ella walked into the locker room where she saw Alex. He sat starring into space as she looked to him

"Are you okay?" She asked as he stood up and looked to her

"Do you even care. Isn't it what I deserve for being a complete ass to you since you got here" he said as Ella looked to him and nodded

"Yeah it is but I don't think that your a bad person as much as you act like it and I haven't been the best person to you either. I'm stubborn and I thought you were a jerk but the way cancer wife cheated you was unforgivable" she said as he looked to her

"Don't call her that" he said as the two of them held a look as Ella rolled her eyes

"Well I'm sorry. I'll step out the way and you can go running back to her but I didn't take you for the grovelling take me back type alex Karev" she said as he stepped towards her. Ella could feel the tension between them as she looked to him

"I am not. I am not taking her back but she's not cancer wife no more. She hadn't got cancer, well she's still getting treatment but she's not as sick as she was and she's certainly not my wife anymore" Alex said as the two of them held a look

Ella looked to him and nodded. She couldn't help but feel nervous over how close that he was to her. He stepped back as Ella let out the Breathe that she was holding. She didn't know what was going on. She knew that there was tension with her and Alex and she knew how it was building and she had no idea how to deal with it all
