Ella stood with Alex as they attended Derek's dinner party.
"Stop fidgeting. Smile." Ella said as she looked to him
"I hate ties. You're the one that's fidgeting." He said as she sighed
" I'm wearing a thing that sucks in my fat. Alex: You don't have any fat." Alex said as Ella rolled her eyes
" I couldn't zip the dress without it. I have fat. "
"Ella I've seen you naked plenty: It's just your ass. I like it fat." He said as she rolled her eyes
"Thank you. That's disturbing, but kind of sweet" Ella said
."You want to go upstairs and fuck? I'll let you use my toe and tie me up"
"You're such a romantic aren't you besides We're supporting Derek." Ella said
"Why? This party blows"
"I'll make it up too you" Ella said as Anna looked to them and groaned
"I need a drink you two make me want to vomit" Anna said as she walked off and grabbed a drink she made eye contact with mark as the two of them held a look
Anna knew how things were difficult with her and mark

Ella, Jackson and Reed were stood watching Mark. Reed turned to them. "I'm going in," she told them.
Ella frowned. "No. I don't think so. He's in love with my best friend. And this is the chiefs house," she said.
"No. Go ahead girl. Get yours," Jackson said, ignoring the glare he got from Ella .
"Why are you encouraging that tramps to hit on my best friends boyfriend. I do worry why I am friends with you" Ella said as Jackson shrugged
"Because. It's entertaining. He won't go with her."
"Yeah well Anna would kill him. Heck I will "a said as she stood and walked off from him.
Reed walked over to Mark and smiled. "Dr Sloan. I just wanted to say that your work with Dr Shepherd on that acoustic neuroma was amazing. I was... inspired," she said.
The two of them shared a look. Mark smirked.
"Are you actually hitting on me when you know that I have a ..I have an Anna?" Mark asked as reed blushed
"Do one pixie" mark said as reed rushed off. She was mortified . Mark knew that he wasn't interested in anyone but Anna and she'd kill him if he even thought over sex with anyone else. He also saw how Ella kepner was glaring at him and knew she'd probably kill him too

Ella got back to her apartment and looked to see Alex and looked to him "what are you doing here? I'm too tired for sex" she said as he stood from where he was sitting and smiled
"As great as sex is with you I didn't come for sex. I was sitting here waiting for you. I will always wait for you" he said as he gripped her waist and backed her against the wall and smiled as he brushed her messy blonde hair out of her face and smiled
